I couldn't help but to feel awkward when, after a while, the kids went downstairs along with Henry’s parents. They were smiling while coming near us at the sofa where we are still sitting with their son before they came upstairs with the kids.

“Hija, can I borrow the children tomorrow? I'll just take our grandchildren with us to go shopping.” his mother said while smiling.

“I—I'm fine, if it's okay with Henry,” I answered his mother.

“Mom! I haven't been with my children for a long time. It can’t be.” he said to his mother.

I saw the sadness on his mother’s. I snorted for a moment. I glanced at Henry and I widened my eyes to him. I thought Mrs. Gomez didn't see it. I felt so embarrassed that my face went numb. I have no intention of looking down on their son.

“Alright Ma, commander already agreed,” Henry answered back. The couple's faces brightens right away after what he said.

“Thank you, Hija,” his Mother said a thanks.

“I—If it's okay with the kids, it's ok
