"What " I replied in the phone .

"Don't worry i will soon be at the office " I said and hung up .

I drove with full speed till I got to the office .

I parked my car and got out of it and started walking into the building .

I entered the building and it was all dark .

Did they also tamper with my lightings.

" SUPRISE " was shouted and immediately the lights came on .

My workers were all beaming with smiles as they sprayed some designs into the air .

" I can't believe I forgot today is my birthday ,thank you everyone " I said in happiness .

Cara my secretary picked up a wine and popped it .

"Hip hip hurray " she shouted and started turning the wine into everyone's cup .

I got my own disposal cup and Cara poured in some wine for me .

" Happy birthday boss " she said smiling and I poked her face .

"Why did you have to tell me that there was a burglar attack when you know I was going to be at work today" I asked and knitted my brows.

" I just wanted to hasten your movement " she said and I laughed .

" Well you sure did , thank the heavens I didn't get an accident " I Said and she smiled .

" Go serve to the others " I said and a frown creased her face which dissapeared immediately .

Hmmm

I dipped my wine and smiled at my workers who were enjoying themselves .

I frowned my face as I walked away, couldn't believe that he would send me away .

I thought he was enjoying the conversation while I was I really really like my boss and I will do anything till I get him because he is mine.

I poured the wine for the other workers with no interest.

My boss is the one I like a lot not them .

Yikes .

Crazy.

Lucia turned on the bed ,she has been bored all morning .

No one to talk to.

Nurse Benny wasn't at work today .

Lucien was going to come pick her in the evening and it's a long time coming .

The door opened immediately and a man walked inside ,same height like Lucien but not as handsome as Lucien .

Lucia got up immediately and looked at the man who sat on the stool by the bed .

" Good morning Lucia " Derick greeted and smiled .

" Good morning " she replied calmly .

" Don't be afraid, Lucien would soon be here . I am his friend and my name is Derick " Derick said and winked .

" So you are Lucien's friend ? "Lucia said widening her eyes .

"Yes " Derick answered not understanding what's happening .

" So if you are Lucien's friend and Lucien is my friend ,that means you are also my friend . Too bad Derick I can't remember you also " Lucia said almost breaking down .

" No there's no need for the tears Lucia ,I understand . It hurts that you can't remember me but it's fine and I believe very soon you will remember me " Derick said wiping off her tears .

Almost immediately Lucien entered 

"So I have cleared everything and we can now go...

Lucien stopped talking as he saw Lucia's red face .

"What happened Derick . Was she crying? " Lucien asked surprised 

"Nothing to be worried about. Lucia is just sad she can't remember us anymore" Derick said and Lucien sighed softly.

" Lucia you don't need to cry ,we have your back all the time . Pretty soon ,you would get all of your memories back just give it time" Lucien soothed .

"Ok how about we go to Tic and Toe to get ice cream before going home ." Derick suggested .

"Yes that's a very wonderful idea , don't you think so Lucia " Lucien Said .

"Yes I do ,I would really have some icecream " she said and got down from the bed .

Lucien got the small bag Lucia used while at the hospital and they exited the ward .

Derick supported Lucia as she took wavery steps due to a few pains .

But she was good anyways .

Lucia got into Lucien's car at the back seat while Derick joined Lucien at the front.

"Are you okay Lucien"Derick asked seeing that Lucien is not driving off.

"Can't believe you forgot today is my birthday,dude"Lucien said and Derick cracked .

"You are so silly ,get the hell out of here " Derick laughed .

"Later you would tell me what's the problem because I know you just lied "Derick whispered .

Lucia looked at the two of them and shook her head .

"Beautiful friendshjp" she thought .

Cara scattered her hair as she came out of Lucien's office .

When did he leave the office"she thought.

She wanted to take him out so they could go have fun after work for his birthday but he had just dissapeared into air like puff . 

She had made some reservations and it would all be waste now .

She punched her hands in the air in anger as she marched back into her office .

"Calm down Cara,why do you look like a flaming fire "Selena a junior intern asked.

Cara looked at her ,hissed and continued her work to her office in anger more greater than before .

"Umm this icecream is beautiful"Lucia said scooping more scoops into her mouth .

"It's strawberry flavor,just like your strawberry skin" Derick said and Lucia blushed.

Lucien coughed slightly making Derick laugh.

"Hurry up Lucia,we have to start going "lucien said 

"Come on Lucien ,let the girl eat her icecream "Derick said and Lucia smiled at him .

"Ahh " Lucien groaned .

"So I am going home right,you are taking me to my house right "Lucia said smiling .

"Maybe I can get my memories faster there"Lucia said and Lucien palmed his face .

What the heck does he tell her now .
