Cassian was filled with emotions as he said those words, yet I could see the restraint in his eyes—

There was more to this madness that I didn't know about!

I swallowed back my anger and took deep breaths trying to calm my nerves. When the thoughts in my head finally settled into a string of non-violent waves, I cleared my throat and faced him again.

"Okay, I have accepted that this is some sort of crazy mysterious disorder as you have explained. But Cassian, does it really give him the right to attack his own brother like this?" I let out, my arms flying out desperate to see understanding in his eyes.

But Cassian retained that restrained expression, which only triggered my anger further and I snapped.

"Shouldn't he be getting help?" I hissed through gritted teeth as his silence continued. "Shouldn't Sylver be visiting a shrink? I mean— if he is as sick as you put it, then he needs help and Rylan shouldn't be allowed to suffer this!"
