BELLA’S POV

How the mother who birthed me and probably went through pain just to bring me out to the world, could reject me easily and not mind about the assassins who wanted to kill me; was so baffling and painful.

What exactly did I do to her that made her forsake the love she had for me? Why did she have to cause me so much pain without caring how I felt? How did she manage to throw away our bond without batting an eye?

“No!” I screamed out again in pain and the thunder rumbled louder than the first and second.

“Bella! Bella!” I heard Jace’s voice and then I raised my head and looked towards the direction of his voice.

He was moving closer to me slowly and reached out his hand to me.

“Go away.” I said softly with tears filling my eyes up more.

“How do you expect me to leave you in pain?” He said, looking at me with teary eyes.

I sniffled and felt touched. Could it be that he still loved me as much as he did before? I watched as he got closer to me and enveloped me with his arm.
