Chapter 12

Jocelyn immediately started acting. An upset expression formed on her face as she said, “Howard, why are you still blaming me when things have come to this point? It looks like I cannot expect you to restore justice for my sake. Right, you have married Lily. Why would you help me?”

As soon as she finished speaking, Howard was so enraged that he almost spit out a mouthful of blood.

A reporter spoke up at once, “Miss White, why did you think of saving your original design drafts? After all, Lily White has taken them all and submitted them to the competitions that she has joined. There won’t be a reason for you to keep them either. If you really want to sue her, you could’ve sued her countless times in these two years!”

Jocelyn rubbed her eyes. It was as if she were rubbing tears from her eyes. “Actually, I kept these original design drafts as a memory of the past. After all, I designed them myself. I only wanted to keep a copy of them. However, I didn’t expect them to come in handy in such a situation!”

Jocelyn looked even more aggrieved when she mentioned this. “I’ve never thought of suing Lily in the past. I can draw design drafts. If she wants them, I can give her a few. However, I didn’t expect her to sue me instead. I feel completely heartbroken!”

Another reporter spoke up at once, “Miss White, you said that you believed in Mr. Jung and both of you were in a loving relationship. Back then, you didn’t know that he had already married Lily White, right?”

Jocelyn nodded with “red-rimmed” eyes. “Back then, I said that because I didn’t know about the truth. I only got to know that I’ve been tricked after my friends sent me the photos of them leaving the Civil Affairs Bureau!”

After Jocelyn finished speaking, she turned to Howard, who was beyond outraged. “Howard, I’ve always believed in you. In the previous press conference, I even told everyone that we’d be getting married. Why did you trick me?!”

Howard was so furious that he started trembling all over. Jocelyn must have known that he was married back then. Otherwise, she would not be able to prepare such a complete set of evidence. What a treacherous woman!

Another reporter asked, “Right, Miss White, why would you have so many audio recordings?”

Jocelyn spoke up in a shy tone, “Actually, I’ve always had the habit of making audio recordings. When I’m bored, I felt like listening to Howard’s voice!”

Jocelyn almost vomited after hearing her own words. However, she tried her best to maintain her performance. “As for the videos, there has always been a pinhole camera at my desk. That’s because a lot of my design drafts have disappeared in the past!”

After she finished speaking, a reporter guessed, “Howard and Lily must have taken them. They act as those drafts belong to them!”

Jocelyn whimpered sadly. She looked as pitiful as a small sapling that was shaking in the wind. “I don’t know. I’ve always believed in Howard, but I didn’t expect him to have gotten married to Lily. He hid all of this from me just to steal my design drafts…”

After Jocelyn finished speaking, she wiped her tears with her sleeve.

Almost everyone thought that Jocelyn was crying.

Howard was mad with fury. He disregarded the occasion and jumped up in anger at once. “Jocelyn White, you b*tch! You knew about it a long time ago! I’ll kill you!”

Jocelyn retreated pitifully. Some righteous people grabbed hold of Howard immediately.

The reporters present watched the scene while taking photos. At the same time, they gossiped among each other.

“How can there be such a treacherous man?”

“He has ruined the pride of all men! Such people shouldn’t be called men! He isn’t worthy at all!”

“How dare he try to hit Miss White when things are already at this point. I pity Miss White. She must be blind to have fallen for him in the past!”

A vague smirk formed on Jocelyn’s lips when she heard these words.

She covered her face and ran backstage. Almost everyone thought that Jocelyn was feeling extremely tormented right now. She must not want everyone to see her dejected expression.

Howard started throwing a fit from sheer rage. He flung off the two men that had grabbed him and chased after Jocelyn.

There were not many people backstage. Howard was about to chase after Jocelyn. He shouted out without thinking twice, “Jocelyn White, let me tell you this. Don’t think that you’ve won just like that. Just wait for it. You’re still a designer at Oasis Jewelry right now. I’ll sue you till you lose everything!”

After Jocelyn heard what he said, she could not resist turning around and scoffing at him. She glanced at him and retreated while she spoke, “Really? I’m so afraid of you!”

In a moment of carelessness, she collided against someone’s chest.

After that, a man’s low and raspy voice rang out, “Really? I’d like to see how you intend to sue a designer from Prosperity Jewelry and make her lose everything!”
