EPILOGUE Part I

Sitting by the sea, I watch the waves break up when they reach the sands of the beach. I take a deep breath, face the blue immensity, and a sense of peace invades my mind, my body. A child's smile awakens me from my little trance. I look to the side and look at the smiling face of a small girl who runs towards me, she approaches me, smiles, puts her hands together, offers me a small yellow flower, I reach out to take it, and before it touches, she walks away and runs away without saying anything. It's strange, I feel the need to follow her, I don't know why, but a different feeling takes over me, I can't identify what it is, just that I need to go to the little girl, be close to her. I get up and follow after her, who runs more and more and smiles. Her smile, her black eyes, and her shoulder-length hair remind me of me as a child.
