Alexander's POV:
Ten years ago, I was 16. My father told me that he wanted me to become the underboss for him. I was pretty young.
But from 8, I had started training. I was already an expert in the shooting, several different types of martial arts. I was good at sports too.
But in the mafia, age does matter a lot. The minimum age of taking over charges of an underboss has been 18. But my father wanted to break this tradition and make me underboss soon because he thought I was trained, expert and mentally matured enough to take over as an underboss. When I will turn 18, my father wants me to take over his position in the whole business.
He gave me a mission in Kansas and I had accomplished it myself. My father was not with me. After informing about my mission's success, he was happy and quite impressed.
Third Person's POV:Alexander went for a jog early in the morning and after returning, he went to Sapphire's room. She was sitting on the bed burying her face in her knees. Her body was shaking slightly and she was sobbing. Alexander walked to her and sat on the bed. The bed dipped on his side and Sapphire lifted his face. She looked at him in sacred eyes like a very scared deer. "Angel, don't be scared. I am here for you." He said, trying to touching her hands. She flinched at his touch and let out a scream. She jumped back from the bed and stood on the floor. Her heart was thumping hard against her rib cage and all her thoughts became muddled. Alexander also stood up and went near her. She was stepping backward as Alexander was stepping to her. Suddenly, her back hit the wall. She sat on the floor sliding her back, burying her face in her knees again and covered her ears with
Third person's POV:"Sir, I have collected all the details about the maid you have asked me. Sir, I have also had her room searched and found some designer dresses and two expensive diamond jewelry boxes. And checking her phone it is found that she contacted The Rippers." One of Alexander's men informed him. "What?!" Alexander asked. "Yes, Sir. She was in contact with Rippers from seven days before Ms. Atkinson got kidnapped. And the day she got kidnapped, she called their number a few times and also received calls from their number in that morning. Sir, all these are strong pieces of evidence that she contacted Rippers in that morning to tell them about Ms. Atkinson's whereabouts. I think Ms. Atkinson didn't go to Rippers. Most importantly, Sir, the maid also contacted with ripper's the day when random gunshots were fired in Ms. Atkinson's room."It means what my angel said was true indeed. She really didn't betr
Dr. Nethbathi demanded to know what has happened with Sapphire. "She was raped and the gentleman standing here raped her. My kid now can't even recognize people, " said Mr. Benson, suddenly entering into the room. Alexander's jaw clenched and he exhaled a deep breath. He couldn't look at them, was too ashamed of himself. He raped the love of his life, destroyed his hopes, the person who saved his life. What a wonderful rendition of kindness he had returned to her! "I want to make things right from now on. Tell me what happened to her in the past?" Alexander lifted his gaze and asked them. "I don't know what to say, I never thought Mr. Rodriguez you could do something so vile to somebody. I think what people say is not true, you are much worse and crueler than the rumor." Dr. Nethrabathi said. She continued, "Sapphire's had many problems before, she suffered from severe stress
Third person's POV:"After examining Sapphire's CT scan and MRI reports, I have come to the conclusion that she doesn't have any serious brain injury. But she is suffering from amnesia. Symptoms of temporal retrograde amnesia which was caused by the injury of her head and dissociative amnesia which was caused by the emotional shock are both evident in her. Her PTSD has also taken a serious turn. I can prescribe her antidepressant drug but there is no specific medicine to treat her amnesia. We have to work on it slowly and patiently." Dr. Nethrabathi finished. "If she is having amnesia, then how come she can remember past incidents?" Alexander enquired. "Every patient is different, Mr. Rodriguez. Her condition is complicated because I think she is suffering from both temporal and dissociative amnesia at the same time. Normally temporal retrograde amnesia is caused by head injury. As she was hit in the head, I believe that caused te
Alexander didn't know what to do exactly to bring Sapphire back. But he was determined to do anything for her. He was burning constantly in regret. Four months passed by. Alexander thought when he would get to meet her angel, talk to her looking at her eyes, even if it's for once. "Mr. Rodriguez, after the therapeutic treatment of these months, I believe that Sapphire's condition developed a bit. She recovered from amnesia, both retrograde and psychogenic. That means all her memories are placed in the right order in the brain." Dr. Nethrabathi informed Alexander about Sapphire. Alexander's eyes glistened with hope, a new felicity. He couldn't help but smile thinking that his angel was going to be alright. Observing Alexander being infused with new hope, Dr. Nethrabati said, "But this good news came with a bad one. Her amnesia is gone, but her PTSD has taken a very critical form. As she remembers all her memories
Sapphire woke up with feeling a stinging pain in her hands and feet. She sat up and saw her arms and feet were bandaged. She wondered whoever tended her cuts and changed her dress. The last person she saw was Alexander. She tried to get down but couldn't, her one leg was chained to the bed. She looked at the surrounding, it was not her room. Alexander entered the room. "How are you feeling, angel? You really scared me." He said standing beside her bed. Sapphire didn't answer him. Alexander unchained her and sat beside her bed. Sapphire got down from bed only to fall miserably in exhaustion and weakness. Alexander held her before falling. Sapphire flinched at his touch. Alexander's heart clenched sensing her fear, stiffness around him. But Alexander didn't let her go this time. She had to win this fear for him. And it wouldn't be possible if he let
Alexander was in his study, working on his laptop. After a few hours, he decided to see Sapphire. He went to her room but she wasn't there. He walked to the garden, she wasn't there either. He asked a maid where Sapphire was. She replied she last saw Sapphire going to the library. Alexander stepped inside his huge library and found Sapphire was reading a book. He went near her and saw her reading a big scientific book. Sensing his presence, Sapphire looked at him. Alexander smiled at her but she didn't return it. "Do you like reading? I never knew you were fond of scientific books." He tried to start a conversation. Sapphire sighed but didn't reply instantly. It reminded her how much she liked to read scientific books. She was admitted into microbiology. But after Alexander took her forcefully, everything was over. Her dream of becoming a scientist was over too.
"It is alright. Go freshen up; I want to tell you something." Sapphire said to Alexander. "What do you want to say? Tell me now." He spoke. "No. First, go and freshen up." Sapphire suggested. "Okay, then come to my study after half an hour. I will be there." Alexander turned and left. Sapphire's POV:I wanted to ask him about when he would let me go. I couldn't stay here forever like a prisoner. I had a life of my own. He had to listen to me. I would make him listen to me. I had lost myself staying here; I wanted to get myself back. About an hour later I went to his study. I knocked but he didn't respond. I opened the door and what I saw scared me to the core. My eyes widened in shock, I was shaking. My knees felt weak and suddenly my throat went dry. Alexander was standing, holding a gun. Body of one person was lying on the floor. He shot another person in hi
