Chapter Four

When I woke up I was in my room alone on my bed. I tiredly got up and got on comfortable clothes since it was Sunday

I went downstairs and found Corey on the couch watching movies

"Where are dad, Felix, and Rosy?" I asked

"Felix and Rosy are in his room playing and Dad went to work because someone screwed something up," he said

I sat down next to him and he side-hugged me.

We watched the uncharted together until dad came home and slammed the door shut

As he walked in the cursed in Italian but stop when he saw Rosy and Felix come down.

"Get it done and right this time or so help me you will die," Dad said and hung up before he opened his arms for Rosy

She ran to him and he picked her up and kissed her head twice

"I have to go to Italy with Corey so it will just be you three here for a while. Felix knows where the school we put Rosy is and on your way to work you can drop her off," dad said

"Thanks, Dad," I said

"We'll be leaving in a few minutes so we're going to go pack," Dad said and put Rosy down before he and Corey went upstairs

"So what are we three going to do while they are gone?" Felix asked

"Watch movies and skip school?" Rosy said

"My little Rosy you have to go," I said

"Mommy what if they doing like me?" She asked

"Baby you'll be okay and if they don't like you they're idiots," I said and kissed her head

"Okay remember to look after yourself and no parties," Dad said making us shake our heads.

"We aren't teenagers anymore dad," Felix said

"And thank heavens for that," he said and kissed my head before they left

"Free at last!" Felix said making Rosy laugh

"Let's get some food in and then watch some movies," I said

We watched all kinds of children's movies until Rosy fell asleep.

"I'll take her upstairs and tuck her in chose a good movie," Felix said

I nodded my head and kissed Rosy's head before he left with her. I grabbed the remote and put on something else to watch

Felix came back and we cuddle as we watched movies. I fell asleep but woke up what felt like a few minutes screaming

"Woah chill," Felix said and hugged me till I was calm

"You okay?" He asked

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said

"Arora?" He said and I sigh

"Every time I close my eyes I feel his hand on me and see him hitting me. I can't sleep because of the nightmares I get. It's always the same dream. Him hitting me,"

"Arora, did he rape you?" Felix asked

I said nothing and he only pulled me closer knowing the answer. We watched the sun come up and the new day start.

I went to the kitchen and started breakfast. After a while, Rosy came in and sat down with Felix following her

"You ready for school?" I asked her and she nodded her head happily

Felix took over making breakfast and I fixed her hair. When I was done I went upstairs and got a quick shower before getting dressed.

As I went down I grabbed the keys and my phone.

"You guys ready?" I asked taking the last step down and putting my hair in a messy bun

"Yup was just waiting for you," Felix said

We walked out and I saw a curious woman looking at us

"Hy ms. Bennet, I want you to meet my sister and her daughter," Felix said without even looking at the woman

She glared at us but we ignored it and we got in the car. I made sure Rosy was strapped in before getting in myself

We drove for a couple of minutes and once we got to the school I walked with Rosy to the office

Once she was taken to class by her new teacher I looked at the time and saw we were late so I ran to the car and got in

Felix drove like a mad man and once we stopped Dante and Dominic were waiting for us outside

"What took you so long?" Dante asked

"Sorry had to drop off my niece at school," Felix said

"Come on you two are coming with me. Arora, Matteo is waiting for you on the last floor here is your pass to get on the private elevators," He said and gave me a key card and pointed to the private elevator

I smiled and went to it once I was in and the door started closing I saw them give me one last look before leaving

I went to the top floor and saw Alex leaning against the wall.

"Took you long enough come on," he said looking at me

I followed him and we went down the hall. Many looked at me in shock and others glared at me.

We entered the last office and heard Matteo speak Spanish

"¡Maldita sea, ninguno de ustedes puede hacer su trabajo! Arréglalo antes de que pierdas la cabeza idiota," he yelled

(Translation- My fucking hell can't any of you do your jobs! Fix it before you lose your head dickhead)

He turned around and saw us before cursing one last time and putting the phone down.
