LOGINFive years later.
In the Dawson family mansion, Mr. Max Dawson had relocated with his wife and three children—Caden, Samantha, and Alicia—to the new home. Caden was Alicia's older brother. He was now 28 years old and wondered what was going on with his father. He didn't understand his father's business, but he knew his father had been receiving frequent calls. "Dad, what's going on with you?" Caden asked his father as they sat in the living room of their new house. Mr. Max had moved out of his old mansion after he couldn't pay the debt. He had only managed to pay 2 million dollars out of the 10 million he borrowed, but he knew he couldn't run away for long. The T-Group had gone silent, which made him extra worried. "Nothing. I just want to tell you the problem that's making me restless. I need 8 million dollars to clear my debt," Mr. Max finally announced to his son as he sat on the couch. "What?!" Caden rose from the couch in shock. "8 million dollars? Father, where do we raise such a huge amount from, and what exactly did you use it for?" Caden pressed, and Mr. Max knew there was no hiding the truth. "I used it for business. I'm into money laundering, and the whole operation got liquidated and seized by the government. The fact is, I've been doing it for years with no problems—until Damian Tucker took over the mafia world in this territory." "What?!" Caden gasped, and his mother and two sisters looked at their father in horror. "Who doesn't know Damian Tucker, the ruthless mafia boss? How could you get into dealings with him? The man has high records for clubbing, frauds, and loan sharks, and the police is doing nothing to apprehend him. Now I hear he bought a new mansion worth 10 billions. How did you get yourself into business with him? He must have scammed you," Caden said as he paced the living room. He was annoyed, but his father shook his head and said, "Damian didn't scam me. The business failed, and that was all." "I don't believe that. So where do we raise the money to pay back what we borrowed, and when is the deadline for the debt?" Caden was annoyed, and before Mr. Max could speak, they heard a knock on the living room door followed by the doorbell. "Who's there? Caden, are you expecting anyone?" Mrs. Jennifer asked. It was past 10 p.m., so they weren't expecting guests. "No, Mother. Let me find out." Caden moved to the door. Due to their discussion, he hadn't heard the cars arriving at their home. However, as Caden pulled the door open, Damian Tucker stood there, dressed in black, with his men behind him. "Who are you, and what do you want?" Caden asked, but Damian smacked his left cheek and sent Caden crashing to the ground. Damian kicked Caden aside and entered the living room, his eyes falling on the family that shook in fear and fell to their knees as they saw him enter. "Mr. Max Dawson. What a long time no see," Damian asked with a smirk, looking at Mr. Max, who was shivering, and at Mr. Max's two daughters, who hugged their mother, afraid, thinking he was a criminal. Caden winced in pain after Damian kicked him and entered the room. Damian's aura was very intimidating and spoke volumes of his ruthlessness, which had grown over the years. "What do you want, Damian? I promise to pay the money. Just give me time," Mr. Max begged, falling to his knees. "Please, spare my family. I promise to pay you," Mr. Max pleaded, and Damian replied, "I wish I could, but you've delayed the payment for a long time, and I need the money for other things." He took out a cigarette, and his assistant lit it for him to smoke. "Four years have passed. Don't you think the money should have generated interest by now?" Damian asked, standing and looking at Mr. Max, who was shivering on the ground. "I know. I swear I'm working on raising the money," Mr. Max pleaded as he watched Damian smoke. "How? By running away with your family? Do you think I don't have my men watching you? You cannot run away. Even if you do, your family will pay the debt—including your two pretty daughters." Alicia and Samantha shivered in shock. However, Samantha raised her head and peered at Damian's face as she hugged her mother, afraid of the cold man. Samantha was shocked to see how handsome Damian looked standing in the living room. But when his blue eyes met hers, she swiftly looked away and hid her eyes. "Please, spare my two daughters. I promise to pay this year. I'm working on another business that will generate the money. Please..." Mr. Max begged, but Damian refused, even though he knew he was the one who had hijacked their last business. "No. I cannot give you any more time. Get him, boys!" Damian ordered, and Mr. Max was stunned. "You cannot take me, Damian. Please, just give me this month end to repay the money," Mr. Max begged. "Quiet, old man! I'm only tolerating you because of my father. I'll spare your tongue, but you shouldn't dare speak any more nonsense to me. Your family will pay the debt. Failure to do so, I'll deal with you for wasting my time. Take him away, Jeff!" Damian ordered, and he left the living room, walking out to his black Maybach Benz. His men in black opened the door for him. Damian hopped into his car and drove off. "Please, let my father go. I will pay his debt!" Caden tried to beg, but Jeff kicked him away. "Stay out of this, loser!" Jeff growled and grabbed Mr. Max's hands, handcuffing the man before he took him away. "Mom, what are we going to do? They have taken our father," Alicia and her siblings asked their mother, but Mrs. Jennifer shook her head. "What can I do? Where do I get such a huge amount from? Your father brought this on himself." Mrs. Jennifer cried, but Alicia replied, "Mom, Damian said he would come for us if we don't pay. We are doomed." "I know. So where do we start? You don't earn much as a nurse. Samantha doesn't earn much as a top model, and how about you, Caden? Even as a lawyer, you cannot do anything to save your father. I don't know. I will ask my family for help. That's all I can do now to get your father out of this mess." Mrs. Jennifer went back upstairs to her room, crying, and left Alicia and her siblings speechless.Alicia hesitated, not wanting to answer Damian's call.Eventually, she did, her hand clutching the phone tightly as she demanded, "Why are you calling me?"Damian was in his club with his best friend, Henry Benard. He was telling Henry about his good news - that Alicia had accepted his marriage proposal."I am so happy for you, Damian," Henry said, as they sat at the VIP table."Thanks," Damian replied, his lips curled into a handsome smile.Henry asked him, "Are you going to host a big wedding? How about your parents?"Damian's brows furrowed, and he said, "I will have a simple wedding. You shouldn't worry. I will invite you as my best man when the time comes."Henry smiled and continued drinking with Damian, happy to see that Damian had finally gotten the woman he wanted. They continued to drink until the night fell, and Damian set out to leave for his home, not wanting to get extremely intoxicated.Upon arriving home, Damian decided to give Alicia a call."Hello," Alicia answered t
When Grant arrived at his company, he drove his car into the company's grounds and parked it. Then he went into his company building to do his work for the day.Simon called Grant and told him about Mr. Max's arrival."Let him in," Grant replied calmly as he settled on his office chair.A few minutes later, Mr. Max walked into Grant's office. His expression was cold, as he didn't want to get himself involved with any Mafia again. After Damian's betrayal, Mr. Max wanted to be on his own and retire from working for any of the mafia families. He wanted to face his own family and do simple work for his peace of mind."Welcome, in-law. Have a seat," Grant said, his voice calm as he gestured to the seat across from him.Mr. Max frowned, his gaze cold as he settled across from Grant."What do you want from my daughter? Samantha will never marry you, and you better not touch my child!" Mr. Max glared at Grant, who smiled."I am not going to hurt your daughter unless you fail to cooperate with
Alicia's heart was pounding in her chest as she thought about her acceptance to become Damian's wife. She sat in the car with uneasiness, shifting from one buttọcks to another, despite the fact that she had fastened her seatbelt. As the driver set the car into motion, he peered at Alicia's face, a look of concern etched on his face as he asked her, "Is everything alright, Madam?""Yes," Alicia replied, looking at the bodyguard as she stopped pacing about in the moving car. She pondered how her parents would react to this marriage. The bodyguard who was driving the car remained silent and focused his gaze on the road. He drove the car back to the Dawson's mansion.***Meanwhile, Damian's mood improved after Alicia left his house. He poured himself a glass of wine and anticipated going to the marriage registration the following day.He ordered Butler James, "Get me the best meal and arrange the whole house for a thorough cleanup. We are going to have a guest by tomorrow."Butler James's
"What's this?" Alicia asked, surprise etched on her face. She couldn't believe what she had just read. To become Damian's wife, she had to live by his rules and please him."Our marriage contract," Damian replied, his eyes fixed on Alicia's face, especially her enticing pink lips.Damian stood in front of Alicia and asked, "You cannot keep up with my terms?""No, it's not that I cannot keep up with your terms, but..." Alicia's words trailed off as she read the five terms and conditions of becoming his wife.Number one: She had to wake up early in the morning and prepare his breakfast.Number two: She cannot leave his house without informing him first.Number three: She needed to make love to him every morning, except due to health issues.Number four: She must not get close to his stepmother and stepsiblings.Lastly, number five: She must prioritize him always and tell him what she wanted.Alicia looked at the marriage agreement and then at Damian's face. She couldn't hold back her la
When Alicia pressed the doorbell of Damian's mansion, she stood there nervously, wondering if he would see her. What if he didn't want to see her, and his marriage offer was off?(Ding!)Alicia pressed the doorbell once more, and the huge door pulled open. Standing there at the door was Damian Tucker. He wore a white shirt and black trousers as he peered at Alicia's face.Alicia's cheeks flushed as she had not expected Damian to be the one to open the door for her. "Why must it be him? Why not someone else?" she thought, but greeted him swiftly, "Good morning."Taking a look at Alicia's face and the green dress that she was wearing, Damian's gaze darkened. Why was she dressed like this? Was she trying to seduce him? Damian pondered as the green dress perfectly accentuated her feminine features."Morning, why are you here?" Damian asked, his voice cold as he peered at her face."Um, I came to see you regarding something serious," Alicia said, and she lowered her head."Something seri
The next morning, Alicia woke up in her room, contemplating going to work. "Oh no. What am I going to do?" she asked herself, pacing about in her room. The words of her father's revelation after visiting the Milian's residence echoed in her mind.'The Milians want to use you against Damian, but unlike Samantha, you will be tortured.'"Mmm," Alicia shut her eyes. She made up her mind to go and visit Damian and to end the whole drama. As she went into her bathroom, Alicia bathed quickly, then she got out, dried her body, and wore a green dress and black slip-on shoes. The green dress was a long-sleeved dress that covered her hands and ended at her wrist.Alicia moved over to her mirror to style her hair and to make up her face to look pleasing.Once Alicia was done with her makeup and her hair, she combed her hair and applied a hair cream to it to make her scent feminine and divine.Alicia then grabbed her handbag, took her phone from the shelf. She glanced at the screen and saw that s
Alicia returned downstairs with the car papers that had her father's signature, as Mr. Max was the one who had purchased the car and handed it over to Alicia."Here's the document of the car," Alicia handed the car papers to Mr. Albert, who was seated on a couch."Alright. I will be taking the car
"Mom," Alicia paced about before her mother."What's wrong, Alicia?" Lady Jennifer ended her call and looked at her daughter's face."Mom, do you know that man is in the kitchen with Clara? What if he asked her to poison us? This is getting out of hand!" Alicia yelled, her voice loud enough to aler
Alicia walked up to the top floor again to find her mother. As she arrived at her mother's room door, she paused and knocked on the door.Lady Jennifer had just finished having her bath and was preparing to head downstairs when the knock on the door alerted her."Who is there?" she asked, moving ov
"What exactly will you be needing that kind of amount for?" Mr. Henry asked angrily, and Jonathan sighed. "I need it for business, father. I am not asking you to dash me the money. I will pay you back. Please," Jonathan begged, but his father shook his head and said, "No. 5 million dollars is no jo
