LOGINFive years later.
In the Dawson family mansion, Mr. Max Dawson had relocated with his wife and three children, Caden, Samantha, and Alicia, as they moved to the new mansion. Caden was Alicia's older brother. He was now 28 years old, and he wondered what was going on with his father. He didn't understand his father's kind of business, but he knew that his father had been receiving calls frequently. "Dad, what's going on with you?" Caden asked his father as they were in the living room of their new house. Four years ago, Mr. Max had packed out of his old mansion after he couldn't pay up the debt. He was only able to pay up 2 million dollars out of the 10 million he borrowed, but he knew that he couldn't run away for long. Four years had passed, and the T-Group had been silent, which made him extra worried. "Nothing. I just want to tell you what the problem is that is making me restless. I need the sum of 8 million dollars to clear off my debt," Mr. Max finally announced to his son as he sat on the couch. "What?!" Caden rose from the couch in shock. "8 million dollars? Father, where do we raise such a huge amount of money from, and what exactly did you use it to do?" Caden pressed, and Mr. Max knew that there was no hiding from the truth. "I used it to do business. I am into this money laundering stuff, and the whole money and assets got liquidated and seized by the government. The fact is, I have been doing it for years with no problem until Damian Tucker took over the mafia world in this territory," Mr. Max replied. "What?!" Caden gasped, and his mother and two sisters looked at their father in horror. "Who doesn't know Damian Tucker, the ruthless mafia boss? How can you get into any dealings with him? The man has high records for clubbing and fraudulent activity, and the police is doing nothing to apprehend him. Now, I heard he bought a new mansion worth billions. How did you get yourself into business with him? He must have scammed you?" Caden said as he paced about the living room. He was annoyed, but his father shook his head and said, "Damian didn't scam me. The business failed, and that was all." "I don't believe that. So where do we raise the money to pay off the money you borrowed, and when is the last date to pay up your debt?" Caden was annoyed, and before Mr. Max could speak, they heard a knock on the door followed by the doorbell sound. "Who is there? Caden, are you expecting anyone?" Mrs. Jennifer asked, as it was past 10 p.m. at night, so they were certain they weren't expecting any guest. "No, Mother. Let me find out," Caden moved over to the door. Due to their discussion, he didn't hear the sound of the cars arriving at their home. However, as he pulled the door open, Damian Tucker stood there dressed in black and had his men standing behind him. "Who are you, and what do you want?" Caden asked, but Damian smacked his left cheek and sent Caden crashing on the ground. Damian stepped over Caden and entered the living room, his eyes falling on the family that trembled and fell on their knees as they saw him enter. "Mr. Max Dawson. What a long time no see?" Damian asked as he smirked, looking at Mr. Max, who was shivering, and at Mr. Max's two daughters, who hugged their mother afraid as they thought he was a criminal. Caden winced in pain after Damian smacked him and entered the room. Damian's aura was very intimidating and spoke volumes of his ruthlessness that had grown over the years. "What do you want, Damian? I promise to pay off the money. Just give me time," Mr. Max begged, falling on his knees. "Please, spare my family. I promise to pay you off," Mr. Max pleaded, and Damian replied, "I wish I could, but you have delayed the payment for a long time, and there are other things that I would need the money for." He took out a cigarette, and his assistant lit the end for him to smoke. "Four years have passed, and don't you think the money should have generated interest by now?" Damian asked, looking at Mr. Max, who was shivering on the ground. "I know. I swear I am working on raising the money," Mr. Max pleaded as he watched Damian smoke. "How? By running away with your family? Do you think I do not have my men's eyes on you? You cannot run away. Even if you do, you have your family to pay up the money, including your pretty daughters." Alicia and Samantha shivered in shock. However, Samantha raised her head and peered at Damian's face as she was hugging her mother afraid of the cold man. Samantha was shocked to see how handsome Damian looked standing in the living room. But when his blue eyes met hers, she swiftly looked away and hid her eyes. "Please, spare my two daughters. I promise to pay this year. I am working on another business and would generate the money. Please..." Mr. Max begged, but Damian refused, even though he knew he was the one who had hijacked the last business between them. "No. I cannot give you any more time. Get him, boys!" Damian ordered, and Mr. Max was stunned. "You cannot take me, Damian. Please, just give me this year to pay the money." "Shut up, old man. I am only tolerating listening to you because of my father. I will spare your tongue, but you shouldn't dare to speak any more nonsense sermons to me. Your family should pay up the debt. Failure to do so, I will deal with you for wasting my time. Take him away, Jeff!" Damian ordered, and he left the living room, walking out to his black Maybach car, and his men pulled the car door open for him. Damian got into his car and drove off, the sound of his car filling the air. "Please, let my father go. I will pay up his debt!" Caden tried to beg, but Jeff kicked him away. "Stay out of this, loser!" Jeff yelled and grabbed Mr. Max's hands, handcuffing the man, and he took him away. "Mom, what are we going to do? They have gotten our Father?" Alicia and her sister asked their mother, but Lady Jennifer shook her head. "What do you want me to do? Where do I get such a huge amount of money from? Your father caused this upon himself." Lady Jennifer cried, but Alicia replied, "Mom, Damian said he would come for us if we don't pay him up. We are doomed." "I know. So where do we start from? You don't earn much as a nurse. Samantha doesn't earn much as a top model, and how about you, Caden! Even as a lawyer, you cannot do anything to save your father? I don't know. I will ask my family for their help. That's all I can do now to see how I can get your father out of this mess." Mrs. Jennifer went back upstairs to her room crying and leaving Alicia and her siblings speechless."What's this?" Alicia asked, surprise etched on her face. She couldn't believe what she had just read. To become Damian's wife, she had to live by his rules and please him."Our marriage contract," Damian replied, his eyes fixed on Alicia's face, especially her enticing pink lips.Damian stood in front of Alicia and asked, "You cannot keep up with my terms?""No, it's not that I cannot keep up with your terms, but..." Alicia's words trailed off as she read the five terms and conditions of becoming his wife.Number one: She had to wake up early in the morning and prepare his breakfast.Number two: She cannot leave his house without informing him first.Number three: She needed to make love to him every morning, except due to health issues.Number four: She must not get close to his stepmother and stepsiblings.Lastly, number five: She must prioritize him always and tell him what she wanted.Alicia looked at the marriage agreement and then at Damian's face. She couldn't hold back her la
When Alicia pressed the doorbell of Damian's mansion, she stood there nervously, wondering if he would see her. What if he didn't want to see her, and his marriage offer was off?(Ding!)Alicia pressed the doorbell once more, and the huge door pulled open. Standing there at the door was Damian Tucker. He wore a white shirt and black trousers as he peered at Alicia's face.Alicia's cheeks flushed as she had not expected Damian to be the one to open the door for her. "Why must it be him? Why not someone else?" she thought, but greeted him swiftly, "Good morning."Taking a look at Alicia's face and the green dress that she was wearing, Damian's gaze darkened. Why was she dressed like this? Was she trying to seduce him? Damian pondered as the green dress perfectly accentuated her feminine features."Morning, why are you here?" Damian asked, his voice cold as he peered at her face."Um, I came to see you regarding something serious," Alicia said, and she lowered her head."Something seri
The next morning, Alicia woke up in her room, contemplating going to work. "Oh no. What am I going to do?" she asked herself, pacing about in her room. The words of her father's revelation after visiting the Milian's residence echoed in her mind.'The Milians want to use you against Damian, but unlike Samantha, you will be tortured.'"Mmm," Alicia shut her eyes. She made up her mind to go and visit Damian and to end the whole drama. As she went into her bathroom, Alicia bathed quickly, then she got out, dried her body, and wore a green dress and black slip-on shoes. The green dress was a long-sleeved dress that covered her hands and ended at her wrist.Alicia moved over to her mirror to style her hair and to make up her face to look pleasing.Once Alicia was done with her makeup and her hair, she combed her hair and applied a hair cream to it to make her scent feminine and divine.Alicia then grabbed her handbag, took her phone from the shelf. She glanced at the screen and saw that s
Grant returned home that evening and went to check on Maria first. As he arrived at the underground basement and saw the state that his only younger sister was in, his fist clenched. "Maria, why are you torturing yourself for a man who doesn't want you?" Grant asked after he ordered Simon to unlock the door of the room that Maria was locked inside. Maria looked so broken. Her fair figure appeared pale as she remained silent, not wanting to say a word. She refused to eat or drink anything. Grant crossed the distance between them. He approached Maria on the bed and saw that she was awake, but she refused to say a word to him. Grant lifted Maria up in his firm arms. Only then did she struggle, wanting him to put her down. "Put me down, brother! Since you want to punish me, go on, but I will not marry anyone except Damian," Maria said stubbornly, and Grant sighed. "Fine. Do as you wish, and that's if Damian decides to marry you, but I will not back you up or have my men commit any c
It seemed that even Lady Jennifer was worried after she heard what her husband said to Alicia. She looked from Alicia's face to her husband and asked, "Is there no way to settle this amicably with the Milians? Why will they drag Alicia into an issue that they have with Damian?" Mr. Max appeared thoughtful and he said, "I do not know. I have also thought about it and I think they were looking for Damian's weakness to get to him. After all, the Milians and the Tuckers are sworn enemies." "Mm," Lady Jennifer frowned and looked at Alicia, who was standing speechless in the living room. Alicia did not have anything to say to her father. After recovering from the shock of what her father said, as it was either she leave for the countryside or marry Damian. Which would she prefer? Alicia shut her eyes and went to pick up her bag. "Alicia, dinner is ready. You should come and join your father and me for dinner," Lady Jennifer said, and Alicia replied, "Alright, Mom. I will be back." Lady
Mr. Troy went back into the mansion and paced about in the living room. He contacted Grant to let him know about Max's visit. "Grant, you need to let go of Samantha right now. You do not know how capable her father is in hijacking some of our clients and drug investors. Let her go back home and you can choose to continue your affair with her. It's becoming a kidnapping if you refuse to hand her over to her family," Mr. Troy vented his anger over the phone. Grant had gone on a short business trip that morning. "Dad, when I return, we can discuss this and do not let go of Samantha. How about Maria?" Grant asked, his voice calm, and Mr. Troy sighed. "Maria still refuses to eat or go on a date with Damon. I do not know what to say to Mark. Now, I have to cancel the marriage arrangement if Maria doesn't want to compromise," Mr. Troy said, as he was also angry because of his daughter. "It's all my fault, Dad. We shouldn't have involved Maria in this. If she refuses to cooperate, then I
