"Hello, Madam. This is Jeff Brody calling you, Damian Tucker's assistant," Jeff said, sitting on a couch in the living room of Damian's mansion.

"Yes... how may I help you?" Lady Jennifer asked him nervously, her heart beating rapidly.

"Calm down, Madam. My boss is trying to see how to make his payment easier and if you will accept his other proposal," Jeff said, paying attention to the call.

"Other proposals like what?" Lady Jennifer asked, and Jeff replied, "A contract marriage with one of your daughters in exchange for the debt your husband owes us."

"What?! Which of my daughters is that? Or should I present any of them to you?" Lady Jennifer asked.

However, Alicia and Samantha looked at their mother in shock, wondering what her conversation with Damian's boys was about.

"Calm down, Madam. My boss wants your younger daughter, Alicia Dawson. Kindly inform her to be available for pickup tomorrow. I will come around to take her," Jeff concluded, and Lady Jennifer was stunned.

"Alicia?" She asked her daughter's name like she had heard it wrong.

"Yes. My boss is interested in Alicia, and if she can accept his offer, maybe you won't need to pay your husband's debt again."

"Wait... You mean Alicia, or Samantha? Samantha was even offering to become Damian's woman now, but I don't know if your boss would like to accept that in exchange for the debt my husband owes him," Lady Jennifer said.

"Listen carefully, Madam. I have other work to attend to tonight. Kindly inform your daughter, Alicia Dawson, to prepare herself unless you have the $10 million to pay up the debt. Except that, she should be prepared to meet with my boss tomorrow. Take care, Madam. Goodnight," the phone call ended, and Lady Jennifer stared into space.

"What just happened, Mom? What did Damian's boys say?" Samantha first asked their mother, standing in front of her.

Lady Jennifer was still seated on the black couch in the living room. She looked at her three children, from Caden to Samantha and to Alicia, who was looking at her worriedly.

"Mom, what did Damian's boys say to you?" Alicia finally asked her mother. She could feel her own heart beating loudly, especially after the caller asked her mother about her.

Lady Jennifer took a deep breath and told Alicia, "Damian wants you."

"What? No, Mother. I cannot have anything to do with Damian. Didn't you tell them that I am in a serious relationship?" Alicia quickly refuted, and her mother sighed.

"I tried to explain to the man, but he cut me off and said that you should make yourself available by tomorrow morning, and he would be here to pick you up," Lady Jennifer replied, looking at her last child worriedly, but Alicia snapped. "I cannot have anything to do with Damian, Mom. So, you better call the number right now and tell him that I am not interested."

"Alicia, calm down," Lady Jennifer tried to speak, but Alicia yelled. "No one should tell me to calm down! I told you to accept Jonathan's offer to help us, but you refused. You refused because of a mafia boss. Mom, I will not accept anything from them, not even for a one-night stand with him. Excuse me."

Alicia walked away from the living room, going upstairs to her room, and her mother stood up from the black couch and called her back, "Come back here, Alicia. I am not done talking to you, and don't you dare walk out on me."

Alicia paused by the stairs and sighed. Her fist clenched, and her fingernails dug into her palms.

"So, you think that I want to have anything to do with Damian, but you should think about your father and know that he sacrificed a lot to give us a better life, and this is just the least thing you can do to help him," Lady Jennifer said as she tried to walk to meet her last child.

"No way, Mother. I will not do it. I will rather wait until Jonathan raises the money," Alicia replied, not caring to stare back at her mother. Tears fell from her eyes.

"I will never trade my body to a mafia boss in exchange for Dad's freedom. Excuse me," Alicia went upstairs, not waiting to hear her mother out again.

"Why me?" Alicia asked herself as she entered her bedroom and slammed the door shut. "Why must Damian choose me? That ruthless man?!" Alicia cried aloud, and her mother and siblings could hear her agonizing sobs.

"Alicia, open this door!" Lady Jennifer pounded on the door of her youngest daughter's room, but Alicia refused to open up.

"Go away, Mom. You don't care about me, my happiness, or what I want. You only care about my father, so leave me alone," Alicia cried, and her mother sighed.

"Alicia, open up. I can follow you to see Damian, and maybe offer myself to him," Samantha said. She thought about the good life she would live becoming Damian Tucker's woman. Damian's name alone was law, and most of the elite feared him. Samantha so much wanted to climb that ladder of wealth, power, and dominance, and Damian Tucker was just the right person to help her achieve her goals.

"All of you should leave me alone. I don't want to see you all tonight, and I am not going to see Damian tomorrow either. Stay away from me!" Alicia went to her bed, crying. She thought about informing Jonathan, but she knew that Jonathan wouldn't even agree.

'A contract marriage with my boss,' Alicia recalled what the caller had said to her mother.

'My boss wants your younger daughter, Alicia. Not Samantha.'

Alicia recalled how Damian had looked at her when he arrived to take her father away. The way his deep blue eyes had held hers, locking with them. She quickly looked away from him, trembling as she clutched her mother in fear of being taken away.

"I cannot marry Damian. Never, and I'm not going to see him tomorrow either," Alicia affirmed on her bed, and her phone rang. She thought it was her mother calling her, and she made no attempt to answer the call.

Alicia stepped down from her bed and went to her bathroom to have a quick bath and relax her tense mood. She had a clinic duty the following morning, and she didn't want to appear at work with a swollen face, so she hurried with her bath and finally came out of the bathroom.

When Alicia entered her bedroom, she heard her phone ringing again. She went to the drawer to pick it up and switch it off, but her heart flew to her lungs when she saw seven missed calls from Jonathan.

"Oh my God! John might think that I am avoiding him!" Alicia immediately placed a call back to Jonathan, assuming before that her mother or sister were the ones calling her.

"Hello, babe," she said nervously on the call.

"Babe, I called your number, and you weren't answering," Jonathan said, sighing. He was at home in his new house, and Alicia apologized to him in a soft tone, "I am so sorry, babe."

"What happened? Why is your voice so sad? Is it because of your father's debt? I promise you that I am going to try and raise the money to pay up that mafia boss. Please, trust me and don't hurt yourself," Jonathan said with concern and all honesty.

"I know, John. Just that..." Alicia's voice trailed off as she didn't know if she should tell him the truth.

"What's wrong, babe?" He asked her, and she hesitated to tell him the problem.

"It's nothing. I will come and see you tomorrow afternoon after work," Alicia said, still finding it hard to explain the reason to him.

"It's alright. Have a sound sleep, and goodnight," Jonathan told her, and she replied, "You too, my love. Goodnight, too."

The phone call ended, and Alicia sighed again. A knock on her bedroom door caught her attention, and she moved over to the door to see who it was.

When she pulled her bedroom door open, Alicia came face to face with her mother.

"Mom, what do you want?" Alicia's expression was stern as she asked her mother.

"Alicia, I know that you're angry with the new development, but Damian promised to let us go and not hurt your father if you agree to marry him," Lady Jennifer said, but Alicia shook her head in rejection.

"No, Mom. I cannot do that. I have a boyfriend," Alicia replied, shaking her head in refusal.

"Then, you break up with him," Lady Jennifer snapped, standing by her youngest daughter's room door.

"What? Mom, how can you tell me to do that? Did you ever love someone before, or was that how you broke up with your ex-boyfriend and got married to my Dad?" Alicia's question made her mother's expression stern.

"Alicia, don't speak to me in such an insolent manner. You have no idea what I went through to give you and your siblings a better life. Only this simple sacrifice from you, and you're beating about the bush!" Lady Jennifer snarled.

"But, Mom… I cannot do it. Just let me be for tonight. Goodnight." Alicia went back into her bedroom and closed her door in her mother's face.

Lady Jennifer sighed and decided to give her youngest daughter time to think about Damian's offer for the night.

When Alicia pressed the doorbell of Damian's mansion, she stood there nervously, wondering if he would see her. What if he didn't want to see her, and his marriage offer was off?(Ding!)Alicia pressed the doorbell once more, and the huge door pulled open. Standing there at the door was Damian Tucker. He wore a white shirt and black trousers as he peered at Alicia's face.Alicia's cheeks flushed as she had not expected Damian to be the one to open the door for her. "Why must it be him? Why not someone else?" she thought, but greeted him swiftly, "Good morning."Taking a look at Alicia's face and the green dress that she was wearing, Damian's gaze darkened. Why was she dressed like this? Was she trying to seduce him? Damian pondered as the green dress perfectly accentuated her feminine features."Morning, why are you here?" Damian asked, his voice cold as he peered at her face."Um, I came to see you regarding something serious," Alicia said, and she lowered her head."Something seri

The next morning, Alicia woke up in her room, contemplating going to work. "Oh no. What am I going to do?" she asked herself, pacing about in her room. The words of her father's revelation after visiting the Milian's residence echoed in her mind.'The Milians want to use you against Damian, but unlike Samantha, you will be tortured.'"Mmm," Alicia shut her eyes. She made up her mind to go and visit Damian and to end the whole drama. As she went into her bathroom, Alicia bathed quickly, then she got out, dried her body, and wore a green dress and black slip-on shoes. The green dress was a long-sleeved dress that covered her hands and ended at her wrist.Alicia moved over to her mirror to style her hair and to make up her face to look pleasing.Once Alicia was done with her makeup and her hair, she combed her hair and applied a hair cream to it to make her scent feminine and divine.Alicia then grabbed her handbag, took her phone from the shelf. She glanced at the screen and saw that s

Grant returned home that evening and went to check on Maria first. As he arrived at the underground basement and saw the state that his only younger sister was in, his fist clenched. "Maria, why are you torturing yourself for a man who doesn't want you?" Grant asked after he ordered Simon to unlock the door of the room that Maria was locked inside. Maria looked so broken. Her fair figure appeared pale as she remained silent, not wanting to say a word. She refused to eat or drink anything. Grant crossed the distance between them. He approached Maria on the bed and saw that she was awake, but she refused to say a word to him. Grant lifted Maria up in his firm arms. Only then did she struggle, wanting him to put her down. "Put me down, brother! Since you want to punish me, go on, but I will not marry anyone except Damian," Maria said stubbornly, and Grant sighed. "Fine. Do as you wish, and that's if Damian decides to marry you, but I will not back you up or have my men commit any c

It seemed that even Lady Jennifer was worried after she heard what her husband said to Alicia. She looked from Alicia's face to her husband and asked, "Is there no way to settle this amicably with the Milians? Why will they drag Alicia into an issue that they have with Damian?" Mr. Max appeared thoughtful and he said, "I do not know. I have also thought about it and I think they were looking for Damian's weakness to get to him. After all, the Milians and the Tuckers are sworn enemies." "Mm," Lady Jennifer frowned and looked at Alicia, who was standing speechless in the living room. Alicia did not have anything to say to her father. After recovering from the shock of what her father said, as it was either she leave for the countryside or marry Damian. Which would she prefer? Alicia shut her eyes and went to pick up her bag. "Alicia, dinner is ready. You should come and join your father and me for dinner," Lady Jennifer said, and Alicia replied, "Alright, Mom. • Mafia Damian's Bride   Chapter 89

Mr. Troy went back into the mansion and paced about in the living room. He contacted Grant to let him know about Max's visit. "Grant, you need to let go of Samantha right now. You do not know how capable her father is in hijacking some of our clients and drug investors. Let her go back home and you can choose to continue your affair with her. It's becoming a kidnapping if you refuse to hand her over to her family," Mr. Troy vented his anger over the phone. Grant had gone on a short business trip that morning. "Dad, when I return, we can discuss this and do not let go of Samantha. How about Maria?" Grant asked, his voice calm, and Mr. Troy sighed. "Maria still refuses to eat or go on a date with Damon. I do not know what to say to Mark. Now, I have to cancel the marriage arrangement if Maria doesn't want to compromise," Mr. Troy said, as he was also angry because of his daughter. "It's all my fault, Dad. We shouldn't have involved Maria in this. If she refuses to cooperate, then I
