030. Striking A Deal

Donald's POV

That early morning, Melissa left my residence without uttering more words. Not even an answer to the question she asked. I was troubled seemingly because I haven't confirmed if her memory was successfully erased.

The last time I erased someone's memory was 10 years ago and I had my necklace on. Therefore, having her left despite Stacy's persuasion in turn made me worry.

I have no idea she speaks Portuguese let alone learned of what I had done to her. Perhaps, she vented because she still remembers everything I erased and stylishly escaped from my wrath.

She was such an amazing one to have pretended and left my premises without the fear of being killed. Then, what was the essence of persuading her to stay when I was the real bad guy who had made her life miserable from the start?

However, that afternoon, I got her message to have lunch with her at Redwood Restaurant today. I couldn't believe I'd arrived 20 minutes before her speculated time.
