Svetlana frantically held his arm, "I want to go home, Luca ple-please. I don't want to go there. Please, don't take me there."

There were unshed tears that were brimming in her already swollen eyes and her voice was trembling and breaking.

Even in this devastating condition, she looked ravishing. Her wild aura was covered with a heavy coating of delicacy and innocence.

She looked breakable.

Luca saw her reaction and let out a heavy sigh.

Svetlana was never that expressive, always headstrong, and stubborn. A woman who pretended to fear nothing that is breathing.

But he understood why her emotions were in overdrive right now. The medicine had taken its effect, he could see it.
