(Alessio’s POV)

The air between us is thick, suffocating, as if the very universe itself holds its breath, waiting for what comes next. Niko, defiant as ever, is sprawled beneath me—his body trembling, yet his spirit unbroken.

I can see the fire in his eyes, the fight that simmers beneath the surface. It's intoxicating. That resistance, that spark of rebellion, it’s everything I want. But what he doesn’t realize is that the fight is already lost.

He just doesn't know it yet.

Submission doesn’t come with a choice, I know that. It comes when you least expect it, when you’re already too deep to escape.

I’ve never been one to rush things.

No, I like to take my time with Niko.

The tension coils tighter with every step I take toward him, savoring every moment. But tonight, there’s something different.

Something in his eyes that stirs my blood—fear, yes, but beneath it… a darker pull. A primal desire. It's raw. Untamed. And I can almost taste it.

His defiance, his anger, his need to escape me—it’s all just a mask. And I intend to tear it down, piece by piece.

Slowly, painfully.

I trace a finger along his jawline, slow and deliberate, feeling the pulse race beneath my touch. His breath hitches, and I can’t help but smile.

The fight is still there, but it’s weakening, little by little.

"I’ve never been one to play games, Niko," I murmur, my voice low and dangerous, my thumb pressing lightly into the side of his neck, just hard enough to make him feel it, to remind him who’s in control. "But you… you’re a different kind of challenge. You think you can resist me forever? You think you can run from what you are?"

His chest rises and falls, his body betraying him, eyes still locked on mine, full of defiance. But I see the cracks. It’s almost too easy to tear them apart. "I’m not yours, Alessio," he spits, his voice rough, but there’s no conviction in it. Not anymore. "I’ll never be your possession."

I chuckle softly, the sound dark, knowing. "Oh, but you already are, malyshka. Don’t you see? You’ve been mine since the moment I laid eyes on you. Your father’s too blind to see it, but I’ve been waiting. Waiting for you to understand.

His eyes narrow, and the tension between us thickens. I can feel the shift in the air, the shift in him.

The moment we’ve both been building toward is so close now, I can taste it.

I lean in closer, my lips brushing against his ear as I whisper, "You can resist, Niko. But you can’t outrun me. Not when I’ve already claimed you."

He stiffens beneath me, his pulse quickening, but I feel it—his body betrays him, just as I knew it would.

The fear is there, yes, but beneath that, there’s something darker.

Something that excites me.

Something primal.

I savor it.

I release his wrists, but I don’t pull away.

Instead, I lean back slightly, letting my eyes roam over him, taking in the way his chest rises and falls with each breath. He’s trying so hard to hold on to his pride, his dignity, but I can see it slipping, piece by piece.

There’s a part of him that wants this. Needs this. He just doesn’t know how to admit it.

But there is also a part of me that's scared of wanting Niko too much.

My fingers graze his chest, and his body jerks beneath me.

I smirk, low and dark, as I let my hand trace down his stomach. "I won’t make it easy for you, Niko. You’re going to fight me every step of the way. But in the end, you’ll break. You’ll be begging me for it."

His eyes flash with anger, and for a split second, I think he’s going to lash out, to push me away. But then his breath catches, his body relaxing, almost imperceptibly. "You’re insane, you know that?" he mutters, voice hoarse, almost resigned.

I lean down, brushing my lips against the corner of his mouth, the softest touch, and it makes his entire body tremble.

"Maybe," I murmur, my lips barely brushing his. "But insanity is just another word for passion. And you, Niko, are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever set my sights on. You were never meant to be anyone else’s. You were meant to be mine."

I feel his pulse quicken beneath my fingers as I trace the curve of his neck, each beat of his heart quickening in rhythm with mine.

There’s a tremor in his body, a surrender that he won’t admit to himself. His defiance is still there, but it’s softer now.

Quieter.

He’s already starting to give in to me. And I’m going to make him beg for it.

But it’s not enough. Not yet.

His father may want him dead, but I’ve done something that no one else has ever been able to do—I’ve given Niko a reason to fight for something other than survival.

I’ve made him want me.

I lean down again, my lips brushing against his throat, feeling his heartbeat beneath my mouth. His chest rises and falls with each breath, and I know I’ve got him. He’s slipping.

The walls are crumbling, and he doesn’t even realize it.

"I told you before, malyshka," I whisper, my voice dark and low, pressing my lips to his ear, my words a warning. "Disobedience comes at a cost. But you already knew that, didn’t you?"

His breath hitches, and that’s it. I know I have him now. It’s only a matter of time.

I pull away slightly, locking eyes with him.

The heat between us is unbearable, and I relish in it. "The sooner you accept it, the sooner this torture will end." My words hang heavy in the air, a promise of pain and pleasure intertwined in the dangerous game we’re playing.

His chest rises and falls, his eyes full of the conflict, the fear, and the undeniable pull between us. He wants to break free, but he can’t. Not when he’s already slipping into my control.

"Tomorrow," I say, my voice a cold promise. "I will train you. I’ll teach you how to properly serve me, how to anticipate my every desire and fulfill it without question.

Resistance is futile, my dear. Embrace your fate. " I lean down, brushing my lips against his again, this time with more force, more dominance, and more hunger.

Yet again he pushed me away, but this time with less conviction.

A laugh escaped from my lips as I saw the spark of surrender in his eyes.

He’s driving me insane because I don’t have him yet.

Niko breathed heavily, his chest rising and falling rapidly, eyes filled with a mix of fear and desire.

“Don’t ever look at anyone the way you look at me,” I whispered, my throat tightening with possessiveness.

“Because if you do… I’ll burn them.”

(Niko’s POV)Seven days.Seven suns set, and seven suns rose. That’s how long I’ve been here.No windows. No clocks. No way to tell time except routine. And routine… is everything in a place like this.Wake up. Eat. Watch.Wait and repeat. They didn’t chain me. They never blindfold me. They didn't even lock the door. That was the first thing I noticed. No cuffs. No locked restraints.Just walls. Just guards. Just control.Which meant one thing—They weren’t afraid I’d run. They were confident I couldn’t.That annoyed me more than chains ever would.I sat on the floor, elbows resting on my knees, staring at the same wall I’d memorized three days ago. There’s a hairline crack near the corner.Too straight to be natural.Too clean to be damaged.A panel. Hidden. Locked.Everything here is intentional.Nothing is random. Including me.The door opened. No knock. Never a knock. Two guards stepped in first.Same ones as always.Same formation. Same silence. And then—Adrian.Of course. He wal

(Niko’s POV)The gates shut behind me.Not loud. Not dramatic.Just a heavy, final click. And somehow—that was worse.Because nothing here needed to prove power. It already had it.The compound didn’t feel alive. It felt… controlled.Every movement measured.Every guard placed exactly where they needed to be.No wasted space. No blind corners. No mistakes.I noticed all of it.I counted.Steps. Distances. Angles.Snipers on the walls. Two on the left tower.Three on the right.Rotations every few minutes—Disciplined. Military-level. Not hired muscle. Not random assassins. This was something else.“You’re doing it again.”Adrian’s voice slid in beside me.Too calm. Too aware.I didn’t look at him.“You’re talking again.”“You’re mapping exits,” he continued lightly. “Doors. Guards. Cameras.”A pause. Then quieter—“Breathing patterns.”My jaw tightened.“If you didn’t want this, why not blindfold me?”Adrian smirked, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Because where's the fun in that?

(Niko's POV)The car didn’t feel like a car.It felt like a moving cage. The doors were locked. The windows are too dark to see through properly. The men across from me hadn’t moved once since we left the mansion. Not even to adjust their grip. Not even to blink.Adrian, on the other hand, looked like he was enjoying himself. He leaned back in his seat, one arm stretched lazily across the headrest behind me like we were sharing space instead of him kidnapping me.“You’re thinking too loudly,” he said.I didn’t look at him.“You’re talking too much.”He smiled.“Good. That means you’re not panicking yet.”“Should I be?”He tilted his head.“Do you want the honest answer?”“No.”"Pity," he smirked.Silence fell again. But it wasn’t quiet. The engine hummed. Tires cut through the road. Somewhere ahead, another car shifted lanes. And beside me—Adrian’s presence pressed closer. Not physically. Something worse. Awareness.I could feel his eyes on me.Measuring and waiting.“Your heart rate

Amused.“You see?” he said quietly.“Your presence inspires remarkable restraint.”I didn’t answer.Behind me, I could still hear Dmitri’s voice cutting through the chaos.“Stand down!” he snapped.“No one fires!”Boots pounded across marble floors.Men shouting.Orders clashing with other orders. The entire mansion felt like it was splitting apart. And yet the hunter kept walking calmly through the smoke.Like he owned the building. We reached the end of the ruined cor

(Niko’s POV)The corridor was too quiet.Too still.Smoke drifted through the broken lights above us, turning the hallway into a gray haze of shadows and flickering red emergency lamps.Fifteen guns were pointed at the man in the suit. And yet he looked like the only person in the room who wasn’t worried. He stood there calmly, one hand in his pocket, as if he had walked into a dinner party instead of a battlefield. My pulse pounded in my ears.Behind me, the medic pressed harder against Alessio’s wound.Blood soaked through the bandages anyway.Too much.
