Chapter 9

Kylie's POV

It was a fucking cum on my hands, I threw the used condom out of irritation. I wasn't the one who used the condoms but I was to trash them, I cleaned my hands on his bed. I hurriedly cleaned Jaylen's room and purposely used a broom to push the used condom under his bed.

What kind of idiot leaves such a thing lying around, I know it's his room but doesn't he know people clean them? Son of a bitch.

After cleaning Jaylen's room, I sat with everyone as we ate in our own dining room, just the home service.

"So…Jaylen and Vegas are they friends? or not?" I asked the question that had been on my mind.

"You can't call them by their names and Don Vegas' name is forbidden to be mentioned in this house," Aimee hit me on the leg with her hands.

Why was his name forbidden in this house? But isn't he coming over for dinner, my curiosity got the better of me, "So is anyone spilling the tea?"

"Nobody knows what really happened, Don Vegas, Don Jaylen, and Mr Rex all grew up together as childhood friends but one day everyone became distant from one another, they fight but still hang out sometimes," Harper explained, her voice above a whisper.

"How long has madam worked here?" I needed to know all these in order for me to catch the caller.

"Madam has worked here before Don Jaylen was born and," Harper munched on her veggies as she explained.

Aimee drew her chair closer to me and said, "Rumor has it that he is an illegitimate child, a child born from an escort."

"A child of an escort?" I whispered, the rumors were surprising.

"Yes, rumor also has it that Don Jaylen and Don Vegas share the same birth mom but different fathers," Aimee added and my jaw dropped wide open.

Damn, I just need to verify this rumor, and if it's through then Vegas is definitely the caller.

"Who cleaned my room up this morning!" Jaylen yelled as he descended the stairs.

Madam ran to him from the kitchen the moment she heard his voice, "Jaylen, is there a problem?"

"Me…me…I did," my lips quivered as I lowered my gaze. I was scared of him but I needed to for me to finish what I came to.

"Where is it?" Jaylen took a threatening step towards me and I stepped backward.

"Where is what?" I lifted my head a bit, my gaze meeting his.

At first, I didn't realize what he was talking about then it suddenly clicked, he was talking about the trash he left lying on the floor.

"Is something missing?" I asked slyly, biting my inner cheek.

"My…I… ….I know you know what I'm talking about," Jaylen said through gritted teeth.

"Me? I..I don't know what you are talking about," I pouted and batted my lashes innocent

"Never mind, bring my morning coffee," Jaylen paused as everyone turned to look at me.

My eyes darted between them, "What?" I raised my eyebrows and mouthed.

"You haven't made my morning coffee!" Jaylen's voice sounded like thunder as he yelled.

"I made it already, it's in the kitchen," I tried to explain.

"Then why are you still standing?" Jaylen furrowed his eyebrow.

I ran to the kitchen, I hadn't made the coffee, I searched around because I was sure I had seen an instant coffee earlier, I took it and mixed it in the cup.

"Sir, your coffee," I handed Jaylen his coffee with a smile, and he took it and drank.

Jaylen's facial expression began to change as he spat the coffee from his mouth into the cup.

"Oh no, she is done for," I heard Harper say.

"What is this!" Jaylen roared.

What's up with him? Why does he keep shouting?

"Co…coffee," I stuttered.

"What type of coffee?" Jaylen was obviously trying to control his anger.

"Instant coffee," I smiled sheepishly.

"She is obviously finished," Aimee whispered to Harper but I heard because I was at their front.

Jaylen walked towards me with each step he took forward, I took one backward till I felt my back hit against the cold war, "You served me coffee in a disposable cup, I kept quiet saying she doesn't know the rules then you go ahead and serve me instant coffee," Jaylen hit his fist against the wall making me flinch.

"I…I didn't know I wasn't supposed to give you instant coffee," my lips quivered, for the first time since yesterday I felt scared of Jaylen, I could see his eyes darkened with our proximity.

"Madam!" Madam walked up to the two of us, "Did you give her the list of things I take and don't?"

I prayed in my mind that Madam wouldn't say anything, "No, yesterday was a busy day so I forgot to give her the list," I turned to Madam, my face softened as Madam covered up for me.

Jaylen's face softened, "Really?" A smirk appeared on his face, "okay then, go and make some coffee and bring them to my study," Jaylen stepped away from me.

I let out a shaking breath as I fell to the ground, "Oh My God," I put my hands on my pounding chest.

Madam looked at me, "Get up and go make him a cup of coffee," I stood up and followed behind her.

We got to the kitchen, and Madam opened the cupboard and brought out the raw ingredients. "Here, make them," Madam pointed at the raw ingredients.

"From scratch?" I asked and Madam nodded her head, "Like from scratch!"

"When you finish, serve it in a glass cup," Madam left me in the kitchen to my fate.

I started with the coffee beans, it was a difficult process but I managed to finish it and take it up to Jaylen's room.

I knocked on the door and there wasn't any response so I just opened the door, Jaylen was seated on his chair typing on his laptop.

"Coffee," I smiled sheepishly.

"There is milk and sugar in it," Jaylen said without lifting his head from the laptop.

"Yes there is," I answered, unsure of what he was trying to say.

"Make it again," Jaylen ordered.

"Ehn?" A frown appeared at the corner of my lips.

"It's called Black coffee, Black coffee! Are you daft? I said again!" Jaylen hits his hands on the table.

I walked out of the office feeling disheartened, it's been a long time since I worked like this and it made me miss Charmaine, Mika, and Mom.

I made lots and lots of coffee and Jaylen rejected all because they weren't up to taste or something wasn't right about them.

I was supposed to be a tough woman, my mom trained me to be a good woman, Antonio trained me to become an assassin but right now I'm trained to be a help.

I entered his office with another cup of coffee in my hand, "Coffee," I forced a smile on my face.

Jaylen looked at his watch, "It's 1 PM, isn't it already late for coffee?"

What does he mean it's too late for coffee? If eyes could kill this would be the right time to kill Jaylen with my eyes.

"Drop the coffee on the table, Since you are here, get some fruit salad from my lady in her room, and yes start preparing dinner, I will be having guests later," Jaylen's eyes were still fixed on his laptop.

"Yes sir, I will do that immediately," I dropped the coffee on the table and walked away to do as I was ordered.

Now I was going to kill him personally, not because I was told to but because I want to, that son of a bitch!

Now I will humiliate Jaylen Noire Adryan in front of his guest over dinner.
