Chapter Twenty-Four

Lorenzo came out of the shower in just his black boxer shorts. His upper body was beautiful in his own way, the ripped muscles, tan skin, and those scars only added to this cruel and dark exterior.

He made his way to bed and settled on it. I watched his back, there were scars on his back too, and the one that caught my attention was the biggest one of them all.

Seduce him. That had been the plan but following through with it was getting too difficult, Lorenzo was too smart for his own good.

I swallowed and scooted closer; softly touching the hypertrophic scar, the welted skin. Lorenzo's warm skin tensed beneath my touch, he looked at me from over his shoulder, a frown on his forehead. He was brutally beautiful, all dark and handsome yet he had something vulnerable about him, something that was drawing me to him. I should be disgusted by him but I wasn't, not even in the least.
