Delilah stilled, her body went rigid and Niko stopped too as they both stared at one another. He frowned, looking Delilah up and down before his gaze moved to me.

"If this is your idea of a date then it's fucking ridiculous even for you, Lorenzo."

I laughed, pulling Delilah close, "She wanted to see where I worked."

Niko turned to her, "And how's that working out for you, Princess?" his tone was relaxed, he wasn't the one to dwell on our private relationships, and since Delilah was no more the daughter of the enemy, it was fine for him.

Delilah glanced at me, her hazel eyes questioning as I nodded at her. She let out a relieved breath, her body relaxing, "So far, so good."

A hint of a smile appeared on Niko's face before he turned to me, "Make sure to give your girlfriend the full Costello warehouse experience."

I glanced at her, "Oh, I intend to..."

She smiled, "I look forward to it."

Niko laughed, shaking his head, "I'm gonna head home, take care of the rest."
