Surprisingly, I slept really well until Glenna pounded on the door and the second I opened it, she stepped inside with a long trail of helpers behind her.

And now I stood there, they assessed me from head to toe, scrutinizing every inch of my body. They measured my feet with precision, taking into account every curve and angle. I could feel their eyes on me as they jotted down my measurements, noting every detail. I couldn't help but wonder what they were thinking as they took my size and other stats. I tried not to feel self-conscious as I held still, letting them do their job. All I could do now was wait as they got what they needed.

"We need to buy clothes for you," Glenna said, finally telling me what was going on.

I thought for a moment and replied, "I have clothes at home. Should I bring them?" as the woman started measuring my bust size.

"No, no, Mr. Mancini wants everything to be perfect today. So, don't you worry about anything? You're marrying a wealthy

I wonder if he really does have an ulterior motive for saving her. I think he really did want to save her, but I wonder if he’s marrying her and cutting her off from her Grandpa as a form of punishment for Linus. He knows how much Linus loves Allegra

That’s exactly what I was thinking and saying out loud to myself as I was reading LOL. I was like “Oh they’re totally a couple!” And being gay in certain cultures, let alone in the Mafia, would probably be a death sentence. They’ve been way better friends to her than the snotty broad!
