LOGINAll I wanted was to learn how to romance my husband. So how did I end up in a situation like this?
Regret flooded me even more because of all the ridiculous things I decided to do tonight. If only I had stayed home instead, waiting for Greg to come back.
I had no choice but to let the man who saved me carry me out of the club. No one even tried to help me whenever they saw who was taking me away.
Just who was this man?
He brought me to the parking lot and shoved me into the backseat of an expensive car.
“What the heck?! Let me go! This is kidnapping!” I protested.
He ignored me completely. He simply sat beside me and closed the door. When I tried opening the door next to me, I realized it was locked.
I turned to him again.
“Sir! Please! What do you even want from me? Please! Thank you for helping me, but I can go home on my own now. I just need to go back inside and change my clothes. Please!” I begged.
But he seemed deaf because he still ignored every word I said.
“Let’s go,” he ordered.
My mouth fell open when the car finally started moving.
“W-Wait, Sir! Hold on! Let me out!”
I grabbed his arm and tugged at it lightly. But my breath suddenly caught when he pulled me toward him instead. Before I even realized it, I was already sitting on his lap.
My eyes widened when our faces ended up dangerously close to each other. This time, I could finally see his face clearly.
Those gray eyes of his looked as though they were dissecting every part of my soul. They weren’t exactly narrow, more like almond-shaped. His lips were slightly reddish, and only then did I notice the piercing on his nose.
Another thing I noticed was his skin. Maybe it was because of the lighting inside the car. He was fair, yes, but there was something almost pale about him.
And on top of that, I was sitting on his lap while wearing nothing but panties, so I could clearly feel the hard bulge beneath me.
“W-Wait! Pervert—”
I froze when he suddenly grabbed my waist and pulled me even closer against him. I nearly collapsed onto his chest when he buried his face into my neck and inhaled deeply.
As in deeply.
He wasn’t just smelling me. It was as if he wanted to consume the scent of my skin entirely.
I gripped the seat tightly, completely confused. What was he doing?
“S-Sir, please—”
“Sshh… Don’t move. Let me smell you.”
Just like he said, I stayed still. I didn’t even know why, but I obeyed him. I truly didn’t move. Even my breathing became shallow and careful.
“You smell good. I was right.”
“T-Thank you,” was all I managed to say. But somehow, that response felt wrong.
Why was I thanking a man I didn’t even know? A man carrying a gun. A man who was practically kidnapping me.
“What is your name?” he whispered while continuing to breathe against my neck.
I swallowed hard. Our position was becoming harder and harder to endure because I was straddling him. My thighs were already starting to stiffen, and I could feel something pressing insistently against my womanhood.
Dear God! I had never even sat like this on my husband’s lap before!
“Your name. Tell me,” he commanded this time. It wasn’t a question anymore. He was already ordering me around.
“L-Lorribel.”
“Lorribel… Hmm…”
A strange shiver ran through my body the moment he said my name. It felt like his voice alone could make me lie down and strip for him.
It sounded that good to my ears.
I quickly shook my head. This was wrong! What was I even thinking? I was married. I was only supposed to feel this way toward Greg.
But when had I ever felt anything like this with my husband?
Not even once.
“I choose you, Lorribel. You’re mine now.”
I never expected that entering that club to learn about sex would actually teach my heart how to love. Not that it was my first time falling in love, but this kind of love… Who would have thought I’d find it with a ruthless Mafia boss?A genuine love.He gave me a reason to understand my own worth as a woman. That someone like me could be loved — and deserved to be loved.Marco Valenti taught me that even the scariest person in the world was capable of love. And I did the same for him.Several months had passed since our second wedding. Just like he promised, this one was much grander. There were more guests, and this time, my family was there with me in Russia. They flew in especially for the ceremony.Mama was shocked when I told her everything. They were angry at Greg too. But in the end, they said
Marco never let me go after that. Even when we slept, we stayed side by side. I didn’t want to be away from him either. I was terrified that someone might suddenly appear and take me away from him again. When we got back, my heart broke all over again. Nana Lucing was already laid out for her wake. I cried and cried over what happened to her.She didn’t deserve any of it. She was just a loyal servant. Her whole life, she had served the Valenti family. Because of her, the Philippines had become close to Marco. And this was how it ended for her.Marco didn’t say anything, but I could feel the sadness in him too. He stood silently in front of Nana Lucing’s coffin for several minutes. After the burial of Nana Lucing and the fallen men, Marco decided it was time for us to go to Russia. I didn’t want to leave yet, but he refused to let me
I buried my face in Marco’s chest and hugged him as tightly as I could. He was okay. He wasn’t hurt. That was all that mattered to me.I broke down into heavy sobs. I pulled away from him and looked up at his face.“W-What are you doing here? Why did you come?” I asked. He just looked at me with gentle understanding. He cupped my face and wiped my tears with his thumb.“Why wouldn’t I? I told you… I will burn the world for you. I will kill anyone who tries to lay a hand on you. I won’t hesitate, Lorribel.”I cried even harder. He was so stubborn. He must have known coming here would put him in danger, yet he still came!I buried my face in his chest again.“W-What if you got hurt? What if he killed you? You shouldn’t hav
Ever since Peter told me those words, I couldn’t stop crying. How could he even think of doing that to his own cousin? And he was going to use me just to carry out his plan!I just hoped Marco wouldn’t come looking for me. I hoped what they said was true — that he was only using me. Because if he didn’t come here, he wouldn’t be in danger.I would be fine. I couldn’t bear it if I were the reason he got hurt. But that same night, Peter’s men came and took me. They brought me downstairs to a long dining table. There was food again — dishes I didn’t recognize. Lucille was there too, still glaring at me with pure hatred.“Lorribel. Sit down.”I sat on Peter’s left side. There was already a plate and utensils waiting. Lucille sat directly across from me, never taking her
I kept pacing back and forth inside the room where Peter’s men had locked me. I had overheard one of the men call him by that name earlier. We were on an island. From what I could observe, it was a private, exclusive one. I didn’t see any other people except for us, who had just arrived from the yacht. I wasn’t even sure if we were still in the Philippines. Almost everyone around me spoke a different language.I walked over to the window and peeked outside. At the dock, another yacht had just arrived. Several men were unloading large boxes. Just by their posture and movements, they looked dangerous. There were armed guards patrolling everywhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if every corner of this house had someone watching too.Oh God… Where is Marco? Why hasn’t he come for me yet?
In the blink of an eye, I was on a boat. I could tell from the way the waves moved under my feet. My body swayed slightly with the motion, making me dizzy. My hands and feet were tightly bound. A blindfold covered my eyes, and a gag was stuffed in my mouth. I was crying, with no idea if I would ever see sunlight again.Nana Lucing… I could still clearly see the moment the bullet went through her head. They killed her without mercy.I cried even harder.Who were these people? What did they want from me? Why did they take me? Why did they kill Nana Lucing?I didn’t know what happened to Marco. Or if he was safe. Where was he? Why hadn’t I seen him yet? After a while, I heard footsteps approaching. Someone suddenly yanked the blindfold off my eyes. Once my vision adjusted to the light, I saw a man sitting on a wooden chai
My head almost swelled from what he said.He chose me? I belonged to him now?Had he completely lost his mind?!Before I could stop myself, my hand flew across his face and slapped him hard. He instantly grabbed my wrist and pushed it slightly away from him.I swallowed hard when I saw his expressi
I let out a scream and immediately moved away from him. I didn’t even know how to cover myself because the room was small, and the only thing inside was a chair. My clothes were still in the other room, so I had absolutely nothing to hide my body with.“Hey! You can’t be in here—”The man suddenly
I felt like sinking into the floor from embarrassment because of what I was wearing.I only had panties on. If they could even be called panties when the only thing they covered was the bare minimum between my legs. My hips and lower stomach were completely exposed. The black stockings attached to
One year. That’s how long I’ve been married to my husband, Greg Lawson. And in that entire year of being husband and wife, nothing has ever happened between us.Honestly, I tried. Even though I had no experience because he was my first boyfriend. But on our very first night as a married couple, Gre
