Sarah’s POV

I gripped the gun hard, feeling unfathomable emotions rise in my chest.

I wanted to do it. To shoot her in the arms and legs, where it would be painful without killing her, yet I could not do it.

It wasn't her fault. In the end, the person I should be shooting was Eloha–the mastermind behind everything.

I walked up to her, seeing her cower in fright.

I slapped her hard across the face, seeing her lips tear. Blood gushed out, yet I had a deadpan expression on my face. This was enough, I thought.

I handed the gun back to Vince, seeing his lips curl up into a smirk.

When the two siblings left, he turned to look at me.

“You're too soft.” He said, and I shrugged my shoulders.

“The person I should be shooting is Eloha, not her puppet,” I stated before going back to sit at the table. My spaghetti carbonara had turned cold, yet I still ate it like that.
