Gabriella’s Pov

“How much further till we get there?" I asked, my voice cutting through the silence, barely audible due to the rain falling heavily.

My stepdad, Victor, remained silent. His eyes stayed focused on the road, his jaw tightening, while he checked his watch over and over.

Breathing out, I faced the window, observing the city pass by. My hands were shaking, something that always happened whenever I knew danger was lurking ahead. Like the day my mother passed.

I turned back to him, to the man who I was certain was responsible for her death. “We have been driving for hours. Where are we going?”

Victor chuckled, glancing at me briefly. “Just a little more princess and we'll be there.”

I cringed at the word, “princess”. Only my father was allowed to call me that. I hated Victor. I hated him for finding his way into my mother's life after my father passed away.. He filled her heart with nothing but sorrow and pain. My mother changed after marrying him, she became distant, rarely smiles and at times she stares at him with fear.

Sitting straight, I felt uneasy. I sensed that something was off, and my mother always advised me to trust my instincts, so I relied on them as if my life depended on it.

The car came to a halt outside a deserted warehouse. I looked at Victor, who was watching me with deepening eyes. "Get out."

I tilted my head, observing the area. The place seemed to have been abandoned for a while.

Thick forest covered the building which made it harder to see.

Sighing, I stepped out of the car, the cold air grazing my skin instantly. My eyes were fixed on the building in front of me which looked more of a mansion, except it had no windows, just concrete walls with a single iron door.

“What is this place?" I curiosity asked, tightening my jacket around my shoulders.

Victor ignored me, grabbing my hand harshly as he led me inside.

The scent of cigars greeted me the moment we entered. My eyes were drawn to the men who looked at me as though I was a me ready to be devoured.

Realization dawned on me, this wasn’t just some meeting. This was some sort of transaction.

“Victor!" I screamed, pulling my arm from his hold. “Why did you bring me here? You told me we were out to buy groceries. This doesn't look like a grocery store.”

Victor turned to face me, gritting his teeth. "Stop asking unnecessary questions," he warned." I'm just getting rid of unwanted trash.” he whispered the last part.

Unwanted trash? What did he mean by that? Before I could reply, Victor's hand gripped my wrist once more. “There was no other choice, my debts had to be paid one way or the other. Just relax and it'll be over soon.”

I barely had time to process his words when two men approached me, taking my arm from Victor's hold.

“Just remember that I really did love your mother," he said, covering my eyes with a thick cloth.

"Stop!" I cried out, struggling against the grip of the men, but they wouldn't budge. My heart raced as my feet were pulled across the chilly floor. I couldn't tell where I was being led. I wanted to fight them, but I realized I had no chance of winning against these men.

I listened to voices, many of them, whispering. A chill went down my back as I stood on what felt like a stage.

“We're all set. Let the bidding begin. She's a virgin, untouched, pure.”

My heart sank, they were talking about me. No, this couldn’t be happening, I was being sold. Victor sold me.

“We start at ten million dollars.”

A chorus of murmurs followed.

"Fifteen million," a man called.

"Twenty!"

I struggled, but a firm grip held me in place. My breath comimg in sharp, panicked gasps.

"Twenty-five!" someone else shouted.

Then a voice, smoother, colder, cut through the chaos. "Thirty million.”

The room went deathly silent. That voice…It sounded too familiar.

“Going once. Going twice. Sold to the gentleman in the back."

I felt my blood run cold. Whoever he was, he owned me now.

Hands gripped me, forcing me back onto unsteady feet. I was dragged away, the blindfold still in place. My mind raced, fighting back the questions that needed answers. Who was he? What did he want? What kind of man spent thirty million on another person?

"Let go of me!" I screamed, twisting my hands against their hold. “Just please, let me go.” I whispered.

No one answered. No one stopped them.

I hardly realized I was being forced into a car until I heard the door bang behind me. My breath caught as I tore off my blindfold, my gaze scanning the surroundings. I felt the world spin the moment it landed on someone I never thought I'd see again.

“Well well, we meet again Bella,"

"Alessio." I whispered, trying hard to remain steady.

A cruel smirk played on his lips. “You remember me?"

Of course I remembered him. How could I ever forget the boy I had once loved. My childhood best friend.

But now, nothing about him looked familiar.

His blond hair was much longer, falling messily over his forehead. His face was sharper, his jawline carved beautifully. His eyes were much colder than I had remembered, lacking the warmth it once had.

Alessio leaned back, running a hand through his hair. “I’ll take it as a yes, then.”

I swallowed the lump forming in my throat. "What... what are you doing here?"

He let out a humorless laugh. "Saving you? Hardly. Buying you? That’s another story."

My blood ran cold. "You….You bid on me?"

He leaned forward, his eyes locking on mine. "Do you think I wanted to? Do you think I spent thirty million because I care?" He scoffed. "Victor put you on that stage to be sold to monsters, Gabriella. The kind who would’ve broken you beyond repair. I couldn’t let that happen. But don’t mistake this for kindness. I don’t want you, either."

His words stung, but I forced myself to stay strong. I shaked my head slightly. This couldn't be real. It was probably another nightmare I needed to wake up from.

The last thing I remembered was Alessio saying he had to leave for a business meeting with his parents and he'll be back soon. He lied, he never came back and now he had just bought me. Nothing made sense.

"You lied to me. You told me you were coming back to me. You betrayed me," I whispered.

His face softened for a moment, but it quickly disappeared. "Oh, Gabriella," He leaned forward, his breath fanning against my skin. "You betrayed me."

My eyes widened. "I don’t understand what you mean by that."

Alessio gripped my jaw, holding it firmly in place. “You know everything right? "Don't mess around with me."

"I don't understand what you mean."

Alessio let out a forced chuckle. "Your family took everything from me, Bella,"

I stiffened. "My family? What could they have done? I'm sure they had nothing to do with whatever…...."

"Oh, but indeed they do," he whispered, cutting me off. "It's about time I return the favor."

The car door locked with a click, startling me. Alessio's hand cradled my face, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"You are mine now, Bella," he whispered. "And I'm going to make sure you never forget it.

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    Lucia's Fears

Alessio's Pov I stepped out of the car, feeling the cold breeze graze my cheek. Carlo stood beside me, his imposing figure silent but alert. The house loomed ahead, a modest bungalow, its white walls slightly faded, a touch of neglect showing around the edges. I took a deep breath and knocked, the sound sharp in the quiet street. The door swung open, revealing a woman in her late forties, with graying hair tied back neatly and a warm, if slightly cautious, smile."Good afternoon," she greeted, her voice gentle. "How can I help you?""Good afternoon, ma’am," I said, giving a polite nod. "I’m Alessio."Her eyes widened slightly. "Alessio? Oh, I’ve heard so much about you. Please, come in." She stepped aside, and I crossed the threshold, but Carlo stayed back, leaning against the car with a silent nod from me.The living room was cozy but cluttered, a mix of old family photos and a faint scent of lavender lingering in the air. Lucia gestured to a couch. "Please, have a seat. I’ll bring

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    What Matters

Alessio's Pov I don’t remember the moment I stepped away from her. I just remember the way her words kept ringing in my head, louder than anything else in the world.Martini… is my father.I felt like I was choking on silence.Gabriela stood there, looking at me with those eyes that used to be the calm in my storm, and suddenly all I could see was betrayal. Not by her, but by the universe. By fate. By blood. She was his daughter. Martini’s. The man I trusted once, the man who raised me like his own, until I started seeing the cracks. The man who might’ve given my brother away. The man who might’ve orchestrated the downfall of everything I held dear. And now, the woman I loved… carried his blood.I felt sick.My fists clenched at my sides. Every part of me was wired with pain and fury. I wanted to scream. Break something. Maybe even cry, though God knows I forgot how a long time ago.But I didn’t do any of that.Instead, I looked at her. At Gabriela. She hadn’t moved. She stood there,

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    His Brother, My Father

Gabriella's Pov After Mia left, the house fell into an eerie silence. I found Alessio standing alone by the balcony, staring out at nothing, his figure outlined by the soft evening light. His shoulders slumped slightly, and his hair fell over his forehead, unmoving even in the breeze. There was something heavy in the air around him, something I had felt before. He looked just like he did yesterday when he came back. I stepped forward quietly and slipped my arms around his waist from behind. He didn’t move. He didn’t speak.“It’s me,” I whispered against his back. “Gabriella.”“Okay.” he murmured absently. That hurt. More than I expected.I pulled back a little, enough to rest my chin against his shoulder. “You’ve been distant,” I murmured. “You don’t talk. You barely even look at me anymore. Alessio… is something wrong?”He didn’t respond. Just kept staring into the distance like I hadn’t said a word.“Please don’t shut me out,” I said, softer now. “Talk to me.”He finally exhaled,

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    Just Good?

Gabriella moaned into the kiss, her hand snaking around Alessio's neck. “Alessio," she moaned softly. He pulled back, his eyes roaming hers before he dipped his neck laying soft kisses on her neck. Gabriella moaned out softly. This was it. She was about to loose her virginity to Alessio. She didn't know if she was happy or if this wasn't the right time for it. Alessio's tongue grazed her neck, each lick making Gabriella fold her legs. She could feel herself getting wet. She wanted him now. Hell, she needed him. Alessio guided her to the bed, laying her down softly in the process. His hands moved down to her top, tearing it open in the process. A gasp escaped Gabriella's lips as she felt his hand roam her bra. “Please," she whispered, her voice barely audible. She didn't know what exactly she was begging for. Alessio smiled, his tongue licking her chest before his hands went underneath her and unhooked her bra. Her perky nipples stood erect and hard and Alessio groaned under hi

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    Revelations and Desires

Gabriella's Pov I paced my room, every step echoing as I moved. The photograph of my mother and Martini still lay on my desk, its edges worn from my constant gripping. My fingers traced her face again, then his. That look in their eyes, it wasn't just friendship. It was something deeper, something hidden.I couldn't take it anymore. I needed answers, and only one person could give them to me.I grabbed my phone and walked down the stairs with purpose, scrolling through my contacts until I found his name. My heart thudded with every ring."Gabriella," Martini answered almost immediately, his voice calm and deliberate, like he had expected this moment. "I was wondering when you’d call.""I need to speak to you," I said, keeping my voice steady. "Privately."There was a pause, a soft sigh on his end. "Of course. I’ve been waiting for this. I’m on my way."The line went dead.Minutes later, he arrived.I led him into the same library, the place where secrets lived in dust and silence. Th

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    His Side

Alessio's Pov The moment I saw him, my brother, I froze. He looked older, harder… not like the boy I remembered chasing through the vineyards barefoot, laughing under the Sicilian sun. But he was alive. He was standing right in front of me. For a moment, the world stopped spinning. I ran to him without thinking, without breathing. My heart pounded like a drum against my ribs."Leon!" I shouted. He didn’t move.I reached out instinctively, my arms already lifting to pull him into the embrace I had dreamt of for years. But before I could touch him, he recoiled like I was a snake. His hand came up, sharp and cold as a blade, and smacked mine away.“Don’t you dare touch me,” he said, voice like ice.I staggered back a step, stunned. “Leon, what…”He narrowed his eyes, and my chest tightened. That wasn’t the brother I remembered. That wasn’t the boy who used to hide behind me during thunderstorms or sneak into my room when the nightmares got too loud.I let out a small, nervous laugh, try

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    Something Isn't Right

Gabriella's Pov The first thing I felt was the cold kiss of moonlight slipping through the curtains, brushing against my face like a whisper. I blinked, slowly, my lashes heavy as I tried to focus. My head throbbed with a dull ache, the kind that made my thoughts blur at the edges. As my eyes adjusted to the pale silver light, I realized, this was my room.Wait… what?My heartbeat picked up. I sat up slowly, confused. The last thing I remembered was being out with Mia. We had been drinking, laughing, trying to forget the chaos of our lives, even if just for a night. But how had I ended up back here? Alone?I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and stood, my bare feet touching the cold floor. I pulled the robe off the bedpost and wrapped it around me, then made my way downstairs, the quiet creak of each step the only sound in the house.I spotted Maria, one of the maids, dusting near the entryway.“Maria,” I called, my voice raspy. “How… how did I get back here?”She looked up, sta

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    The Reunion

Alessio's Pov The pilot’s voice crackled through the speakers above us, thick with accent and finality.“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Moscow. The local time is 6:42 p.m.”I exchanged a glance with Carlo. No words needed. We both knew this wasn’t just another flight. This was stepping straight into the lion’s den.As we exited the private jet, the icy Russian air sliced through the coat I wore like it was made of paper. A convoy of blacked-out SUVs idled on the tarmac below, their engines rumbling low like beasts waiting to pounce.Carlo stayed close, his hand resting casually near his holster. His eyes scanned the area like he expected a sniper’s scope to glint at any second.“Are you sure this is smart?” he muttered as we descended the stairs. “Meeting Vandel on his own soil? This is enemy territory, Ale. If something goes sideways, we’re not walking out of here.”I didn’t respond immediately. Instead, I watched our breath fog in the air before finally replying, “Vandel knows be

  • Mafia's Sinful Bride    Girls’ Night Gone Wrong

Gabriella’s PovI paced the room. My thoughts roaming all over the place. I needed to find out what connection my mother had with Martini. I jumped up at the sound of the bedroom door creaking. Alessio stepped in, looking ravishing as always. His eyes roamed the room before landing on me. He cleared his throat before speaking. “I'll be out for a while." He began. “I'm going to Russia for a business trip. My eyes widened. Russia? All of a sudden. I knew there was more to it but I decided not to press further. My eyes shot up. "Okay, when will you be back?”He walked closer to me and I could feel his breath fanning my check as he moved closer to my ear. "If you have any thoughts of doing anything stupid while I'm gone, you better cancel those plans. You'll be under 24 hour Surveillance. You are not to leave this house without my permission.”My anger flared. "What? You can't keep me locked here, Alessio." A smirk played on his lips. “I can and I will." With that being said, he t
