I left her room confused and concerned.

QIt was going to be tough not to hear her voice again but it was more than not talking. She showed no interest about leaving the room or getting off the bed. Since I was not getting through to her, I decided that a couple of gifts could change her mood.

There was just one problem, I had no idea what could cheer her up so I did the next best thing, something I never thought that I would ever do in a long time. I sought out Georgia at the garden in the back yard. She was tending to the koi fishes in the pond.

She had a forlorn expression on her face as she went about her work. Something was up with Georgia too. I could never understand how emotions applied to women, they were always a big mystery to me.

"What seems to be the problem, master Stephan? You have been standing there for a while," Georgia said as she threw crumbs of feed into the pond. I saw the colorful fishes flutter about to eat the crumbs.
