Raven
Lucy is leaning his back against a tree trunk, gazing out over the lake with the moon above us. An owl is hooting, and I knead my hands against my legs to pretend I'm busy.
In the few minutes I've spent with Lucy, we have only been silent, yet his crimson eyes are enough to make me nervous. He has looked me right in the eye a few times, smiling every time, and I grow hot and bothered in return, forced to turn away by my beating heart.
I'm struggling not to jump him, knowing that it probably isn't the best idea when he doesn't remember me, but he is so gorgeous under the moonlight and right there. His scent lingers in the air, calling to my soul—even my fingers itch with the need to touch him. I swear every freaking cell in my body wants to be near him.
Without making a sound, I glance his way, and seeing him meet my eyes with that damn smile got my blood boiling in my veins. Saying I'm in agony is putting it mildly. I have to force my legs still
