Chapter 28: Sky - back in the village

After I closed the circle and called all the elements to me, I drank the potion Leah had made for me and read out an incarnation before thinking of Leaf and the place that had been my home for the last couple of years. The energy entered my body and I let it consume me.

When I opened my eyes, I was sitting on a field. Leaf’s house was up ahead. I laughed to myself and started walking. I couldn’t believe it actually worked. When Jax told us that Freya had told him to go home and stop us from doing something silly, it made me question if we were doing the right thing, but the spell was the only way I knew how to get here. And I desperately needed to get the hands on that book, for mine and Mark’s sake.

I don’t want to accept Mark as my mate until I know I can get my magic back, as if I don’t get my magic back I’d die soon enoug
