AURORA’S POV

The same night

I heard it, a faint feminine voice echoing with the wind. Lira seemed to have a way of contacting me, I tried to avoid Damion's questions and pretend I didn't hear anything.

With my new strength, I focused on carrying the huge pile of meat, while the men carried a few more.

Damion looked at me like he's trying to find answers. I couldn't tell him about my vision in my dream, the horror I witnessed. Even though Velmoria wasn't mine to worry about, I still didn't know who Lillian was or why this spirit, Lira kept following me whenever I came in the woods. It was all too much for me to take in.

“Are you probably thinking about, uhmm I don't know— maybe Lillian? Tell me what's so special about this name,” Damion asked as he remained a step behind towards me.

The guys were ahead with huge carriages and sacks, this food was enough to feed the entire village.
