Pacing the walls of her room was not going to bring about any solution to her current dilemma. She should have known Rod was going to ask for more after her wedding party disaster. He was such a fool. She would destroy him if he tried to expose her.

She had thought she could just use him and dump him but he was proving difficult. Saying he wanted more. But she did not want the likes of him, she liked her men docile and humble, begging as she crushed their pride.

But Rod was trying to tame her instead and she would not have that. Damn that Alan for putting her in this position. If he had not played a fast one on her on her wedding night she would not have gone the extra length to put herself in the good graces of the public and Maska Zang by pacifying all of the Alphas that came to the pack. Rod however had been the only one that caught her interest, she had even been the first one to initiate sex. And he was proving difficult to be just a one-time sling
