CHAPTER 3: HOLY.. DAMN

NORA’S POV

“Oh my…. Gosh.”

I stood in front of the door and right before my eyes was Jake’s step dad.

I finally got to see him in the flesh. After months of fantasying about him.. he’s finally standing close to me.

Oh dear Lord, please hold my cunt tight cause it’s about to explode up in here.

“Daniel where the fuck did you drop the remote.” A familiar voice sounded in the background.

“Daniel.” The voice called out again.

Wait, that sounds like Jake. Huh? What’s he doing here? He told me he’d be in his friends house to handle a few things.

“Yo, dude why aren’t you answering me—“ he tapped his step dad on the shoulder while trying to fill up the little space that was left at the door.

Instantly our eyes met. “Nora.” He sounded too stunned to speak.

“Jake?” I spoke quietly. “What are you doing—“

“This is my step- brother's house. What do you mean?” He let out a short laugh and became serious.

“What are you even wearing and why are you wearing that?”

My eyes left his face and trailed down to my body. He’s right.. What the hell am I doing here.

“Uhm, I was told to come pick up something here.” The two men both looked at themselves simultaneously.

“Huh??” They said in unison.

“Who?”

“Also why? For what??”

“Can you both just calm the fuck down??” I yelled out of anxiety. “Jeez, let me fucking talking already.. alrig—“

“You might as well just come inside though. You’re my girlfriend for fuck sake.” Jake interrupted.

Okay, I guess that’s fair. I passed them both and entered the house. Jake’s step father directed me to their living room.

The house was well furnished. Very clean at that. That’s funny for real. Jake isn’t as clean as he appears to be but his brother? Damn.

I’m impressed and I myself hate to clean. I only clean or do stuffs when I want to. It makes me happier doing things that way.

“So you were trying to explain to us how you got yourself in this situation.” Jake’s stepdad said calmly.

Gosh his voice was soothing and calm and for a step dad.. he sure looks young and fine as fuck.

“My manners, sorry I’m..”

“Norah? Yeah, I got that earlier on.” He interrupted.

Okay? Is it me or is he acting weird. He doesn’t want me here or?? Thought he told Jake he wanted to meet me. Even though this isn’t the best way to meet one’s parents considering the fact that I’m dressed like a fucking slut with no undies. But hey, shit happens.

“Boys it’s time for games. Get your ass up.” A very very familiar voice echoed in the background.

Oh hell no. I know that voice anywhere. How did he know Jake? The stepdad?

Was this a setup? What’s going on?

“Oh great, seems y’all have met Nora.” My eyes bulged in shock.

I turned my head and saw him standing behind me.

The man I literally fucked yesterday is standing behind me. Well.. at this point i don’t know if I should be scared or happy or anxious.

Urghh.. so many fucking emotions running through my head.

Why would I let myself be in such a tight spot. Not only did I cheat on my boyfriend with my boss but apparently… I’m seated in the midst of all three.

The only difference is that out of the three I only slept with two. Damn, might as well just balance the equation.

Nora, this isnt the time for this snap out of it. I brought myself back to reality and faced head on what was in front of me.

“Good day bos—“

“Oh, good seems you’ve met my Step dad. Marcus.” Am I going crazy right now? Or did I hear double.

“Jake? What do you mean.” I let out a fake laugh. “Mr Marcus isn’t your step dad, he is.” I said while pointing at Daniel.

Everywhere suddenly became quiet. They were all looking at me like I said something abominable.

Remember honey, you showed me his picture few months ago.

“Honey?” My boss arched his brows.

“Pictures?”

“Jake, what is she talking about.” All heads turned to him and we awaited an explanation.

He looked at us for a while before parting his lips then closing them again. It felt like he was trying to hide something but didn’t know which lie to say.

He sighed. “Nora, it’s time you know the truth.”
