Jack's PoV
Peeping into someone else's conversation maybe one of my specialities, it is one of the most crucial skills needed in assassin work especially for those who work in the shadows like myself.
Due to my small figure I am able to hide in smaller places without being easily detected. Even the most powerful alpha would have a hard time in finding where I am which acts to my advantage when working in the shadows.
Despite in this situation, there is no need for me to hide myself as all these are just an illusion however it was just out of habit.

Jack's PoV As Alice pulled me into his room, he quickly locked the door and faced me with a really angry look with his eyes changing colour from his green to gold meaning his wolf is going out of control. Jack's PoV It has already been another 2 months since I found out Alice is my mate. We became closer, acting like friends but not too long ago, Alice asked me out on a date which I agreed to and one thing led to another and I am currently along with the boys in Alice's pack house. Unknown PoV “Are the preparations done?“ I asked in a monotone voice “Yes, everything is under our control. Alice's PoV During the meeting, we discussed the incidence of the attack and which borders did the rouges cross and it seems this attack was pre-planned beforehand but who has the power to take control of rouges who are starved from their rationality? And more specifically why? “It would seem this is not the end of the attack, it is likely a second wave would approach us any time soon, we must ensure the safety of the women and children” one of the officers said. Alice's PoV The scent of Jack was wavering in the thick blooded air, but it must have been my imagination, the rouges has fallen one after another. A dark shadow approached me acting as my protection, killing the rouge who tried to stab from behind, I was in a daze in seeing the shadows movement, the physique looks slim and feminine but also so familiar... Getting a closer look when the shadow approached, I felt so comfortable and safe with no doubt, I was caught in it's beautiful eyes that looks so dazzling and glorious as if I am sinking in it. The words coming out of her mouth, “be careful Alice” caught me off guard and the next thing I said was “Jack?“ before he fell catching a arrow that shot right through him who was trying to protect me. As the scene slowly registered into my head, I was crying unconsciously with Jack between my arms, I rushed into the infirmary and demanded the doctors to come and check him.

Jack's Pov The darkness slowly consuming me, taking me away from my sanity and consciousness. Sinking deeper and deeper into the dark abyss. A vague light shined in front of me. But trying to reach it to no avail, it disappears, leaving me in despair and coldness with nowhere to look up to. I am alone... As my consciousness is slowly regained, I found myself in pitch black darkness, my voice echoes within like being trapped in a tunnel with no ends. Walking along the dark path with no directions to take, I am afraid but also glad. If my existence doesn't exist, would the world be at more peace, with me gone will everyone at my side be safe. As the memories of the boys, Alice, my pack, Lilia, the full moon pack and all the people and supernaturals I have meant and those who I have lost.
