Chapter 23: True Forms

Lagertha's POV:

The room grew silent at Tony's words causing me to let out a sigh "I have most of the stuff we need still in my truck so I'll go grab that" I said breaking the silence a small smile resting on my face.

Gaining a few head nods in reply I stand up out of Sebastian's warm grip and head out of the door, opening up the door of my truck I reach in grabbing a cardboard box out of the passenger seat, stepping back down I hit what I'm guessing is a hard chest causing me to let out a small gasp at the sudden contact.

Looking up I see Tobias looking down at me "hey" he whispers as I take a deep breathing calming myself down from the sudden appearence of the boy.

"Hi" I said back my eyebrows furrowed as i turn around the box in my hand while I do so "um, not to seem rude, but why are you out here" I question him clearly confused by his sudden appearance.
