Chp 5 Pt. 1 Homecoming Game

I was in the hospital for three days before they finally released me. Thankfully Terra was able to heal me and I feel good as new except she has exhausted herself and won’t be able to shift for a while. I am not sure how long that is, but it has made Aspen extremely paranoid. He hasn’t left my side all week, including coming to school and my cheer practices.

However, this morning he had a meeting back home so I finally get a chance to breathe a bit. The twins and I dress in our cheer uniforms and prepare to head down stairs when we are stopped by a bouquet of  black dahlias at the front door.

“Why would Aspen send you black dahlias,” asks Olivia.

“Yeah, aren’t they like a symbol of betrayal,” says Oliver.
