My eyes would not listen, so I could not see where I was, but the stench of blood and serpent was lacking. Instead, it somehow smelt familiar. I felt safe; mumbling voices grew closer and closer. Two. Two people were talking.

I took a deep breath, and the fresh air and sting of pain told me I was indeed alive. Death was not granted. I still had time and still had a purpose. Ok this story’s good, but, I’m honestly confused as a dog right now. How did she go frm a BDSM session w/Bear the last chapter to being tortured & being rescued in this one??? Did I miss something, are these chapters in the right order?? Is this a flashback?
