Mandy Must Die

Standing before Cloudington High's main building, Mandy Willow's expression was haughty and distant as she told me, "Thank you for this… Chain of Fortune, Zac. I will gladly receive it, but I can't accept your love for now!"

Tall, slender, and bearing a pretty face while carrying herself with an alluring innocence, she would definitely draw stares with her presence.

However, I zoned out as I stared at her just then.

That was when a modified motorbike streaked toward us, knocking over the bouquets of 999 roses that I had arranged into a heart shape.

It was Frank Young, Mandy's first and one true love.

A jock with a thuggish demeanor, he wasn't all that tall and had average looks, with his hair dyed platinum blond while he sported a pair of silver ear piercings.

Like a genuine delinquent, he looked both fashionable and rebellious.

Moreover, he was infamous as a jerk who was known to date a few girls at the same time.

Even then, Mandy remained obsessed with him and happy to cling to him.

In her eyes, everything about him was great—he was wild and unbridled, but also her knight in shining armor.

Even as her eyes twinkled, she bit her lip as she quickly clarified, "Please, Frank—don't get the wrong idea! Zac and I are just classmates. He insisted on giving me this and even confessed his feelings to me. I had no choice!"

The way her tears could flow out right then really made her look like such a tame puppy, but I felt only disgust and hatred as I watched them flirt.

In my last life, they had worked together to screw me over, destroying my family and leaving me to die with unresolved resentment.

It was despair and anguish that went beyond words.

The hatred I had was an inferno blazing in my heart, and I could rush up to strangle them right then!

However, I also understood that haste makes waste, if not ruining everything outright.

And mere murder was letting them off easy—I had much better ideas.

That included helping them hook up as much as I could, so that they were stuck with each other.

Then, amid their glee, they would find their lives suddenly turned upside down as I took them apart, piece by piece, until they were devoured by terror and regret!
