Woman in the woods

We were still waiting for the DNA test results and in the meantime I decided that it was time to introduce Rogue to the pack. I was very confident that the results would come in my favor.

Since Drex was taking time off to spend quality time with his woman I gave him a few days over to make his final decision.

I knocked on the door and when I didn't get any response I opened the door and found Rogue sitting on the bed.

Our eyes locked and I smiled at her.

"You seem to be getting better very soon you'll get out of here."

She frowned at me.

"Are you kicking me out?" She asked curiously while narrowing her eyes at me.

I shook my head negatively and chuckled softly.

I sat beside her and grasped her hand.

"I don't want you to leave and when you do leave it will only because Freya Allan has the last say in the matter."

She hummed in response.

"I guess you're right but why do you always call my mother by her last name?"

I shrugged carelessly.

"I don't know, it just feels right to me."
