CAIN POV

‘ Alpha. We are under attack. ’

I was looking for Olivia when I heard Selvia’s voice through the mindlink.

The first thing I thought about was Miracle. That Dense and Careless mate was out there. Everybody else had taken the potion which protected them from compulsion, but Miracle was defenseless in this matter.

From what I sensed, she was out there too and I never doubted that she will come in harm’s way like the idiot she is.

I rushed outside and saw the expected scene upfront. Those hybrids were swarming the place. Many pack members have already dealt with most of them.

My eyes moved around in search for the one I want to find right now. Her scent hit me from the direction of the forest and I looked there.
