Katrina’s POV

My whole body still felt warm. Buzzing, even. I was trying to walk straight, but my legs were like jelly. Liam had literally wrecked me in the woods with just his hands and mouth—and then had the nerve to act all calm and smug about it.

He helped me pull my jeans back up while I leaned against a tree for balance. I felt the cool fabric brush against my still-sensitive skin, and I bit my lip, trying not to gasp. I reached for my underwear, but Liam was faster.

He scooped it off the forest floor, dangled it between two fingers, and tucked it right into his pocket like it was no big deal. Like he did this all the time.

“You’re not getting this back,” he said with a cocky grin, his voice low and playful.

My eyes widened. “Liam!” I hissed, glancing around the trees like someone might’ve followed us.

He just winked at me. “It’s a souvenir.”

I was so embarrassed. But also kind of flattered? Ugh. He always did this to me—making me feel shy and bold at the same time.
