The sound of rushing footsteps and urgent voices filled the air as more pack guards arrived to quench the fire. The flames were getting higher, casting a golden glow over the surrounding area.

The guards worked swiftly, their movements practiced and efficient. Some used powerful spells to douse the flames, while others used hoses to spray water on the fire.

The leader of the guards, a tall and imposing figure, directed the efforts with a calm and authoritative voice. "Keep the flames contained!" he shouted. "We don't want it spreading to the nearby buildings!"

The guards responded quickly, working together like a well-oiled machine. They were a testament to the pack's training and discipline, and it wasn't long before the fire was brought under control.

As the flames died down, the guards stood panting, their faces covered in soot and sweat. They had done an impressive job, and the pack dorm was safe once again. But the question still lingered: what was Darius planning next?

Lucian called out to me, his voice low and gentle. "Isla?"I was still in a daze, lost in my thoughts about Adrian and the situation with Darius. When Lucian touched my arm, I flinched, my heart racing."What?" I asked, looking up at him with a mixture of confusion and concern.Ryder and Elias had already left, and it was just Lucian and Jace standing with me. Lucian's eyes were filled with worry as he looked at me."Are you okay?" he asked, his voice soft.I nodded, trying to shake off the feeling of unease. "Yeah, I'm fine," I replied.Lucian's expression was skeptical, but he didn't push the issue. Instead, he suggested, "You should move into my dorm room."I raised an eyebrow, surprised by the suggestion. "Why?" I asked.Lucian's reasoning was practical. "This dorm has been burnt down, and it's not safe for you to stay here. It's better if you stay in my dorm room, where I can keep an eye on you."I hesitated, unsure of what to do. Staying in Lucian's dorm room would mean being cl

ISLAI felt a pang of disappointment and hurt when Lucian pushed me away after accepting our wolf bond. But as I saw Elias and Jace approaching, I realized why he did that. Maybe he didn't want anyone to know that I was his mate now.Fear still gripped me as I saw Elias's face, his intense gaze and the memory of him breaking down my door flashing in my mind. The growling and snarling that had terrified me came flooding back, and I instinctively hid behind Lucian, feeling safer with him by my side.I peeked out from behind Lucian, seeing Elias's worried expression, but my fear still lingered. I knew I had to be careful around him, at least until I understood the dynamics between us better. For now, I was grateful to have Lucian's protection.“Is she okay?” Elias asked if I was okay, his voice soft and concerned. I looked up at him, confused. Why did he care about me? Wasn't he the one who had wanted to kill me the other time when I found him kissing Jace?"I'm fine," I said, trying to

LUCIAN"I love you, Isla," I whispered, my voice filled with emotion."No, I'm It’s Elara," she replied, her voice firm.I looked at her in shock, wondering what she meant. "What do you mean?" I asked, my mind racing with questions. She smiled, her eyes shining with tears. "After the kiss, I remembered my past life," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.I stared at her, my heart pounding in my chest. And then she threw her arms around me, holding me tightly. "I've missed you so much, Lucian. I remember now," she whispered, her voice cracking with emotion.I held her close, feeling a mix of emotions: shock, joy, and wonder. Was it possible that she was really Elara, my mate from centuries ago? I didn't know what to think, but one thing was certain: I would never let her go again.Just then, I smelled Elias and Jace approaching with speed. My instincts kicked in, and I immediately pushed Isla away from me, acting all cold.Isla looked at me, her eyes filled with disappointment an

LUCIANI stood frozen, my mind reeling from Isla's words. She couldn't be serious. She was saying that she was my mate, that she was a wolf, and that her wolf's name was Elara. It was impossible. I should have known she was my mate. Oh wait, I knew but, We had tested her with the sphere, and it had shown no signs of wolf DNA or mutation. She was part of my pack, yes, but she was a Delta, a normal human.I thought to myself that maybe she had hit her head during the explosion, and this was some kind of delusion. But as I looked into her eyes, I saw something there that gave me pause. A spark of recognition, a glimmer of connection that I hadn't seen before. And then she kissed me, and everything changed. The world around us melted away, and all that was left was the two of us, lost in the intensity of the moment. I felt a rush of emotions, a sense of longing and desire that I hadn't felt in centuries. As our lips touched, memories flooded back, memories of a life long past, of a love

I looked up at Lucian, confusion etched on my face. "Who is Elara?" I asked.Lucian's expression changed, and he realized whom he had just called me. "I'm sorry, I meant to say Isla," he said, trying to cover. But I shook my head. "No, I want to know who Elara is. Because my wolf name is Elara," I said, my voice firm.“You've hit your head, haven't you?”Lucian chuckled, looking at me like I was crazy. "You've forgotten your pack of the Delta Wolf, and they are human. You're human, you don't have a wolf. You're no werewolf."I looked at him, my eyes locked on his. "I'm a wolf. I have a wolf," I said, my voice steady.Lucian's expression changed, and he looked at me like I was a puzzle he couldn't solve. "What are you talking about?"I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I was tired of hiding who I was from Lucian. And since I saw myself in a wedding dress in a picture on his table in his room, I felt even more drawn to him. It was like we were more than mates."
