CHAPTER ELEVEN : HOTTER THAN FIRE

Asher swung open his door and looking right back at him was Luna, he slouched back as he almost burst out into laughter from his own reaction.

"What do you need Luna?", he asked as he stared at her.

"Well.... are you going to invite me in or what?", Luna replied as she raised her shoulders expressively.

"Come on in" Asher said with a grin; he didn't know what had gotten into the girl but he was glad to have her here.

Luna walked inside and looked around curiously before she turned to Asher and smiled at him. He smiled back as he closed the door and then he walked past her and sat down.

"What do you need?, we just finished sparring and I need to rest", Asher said as he attempted to feign fatigue.

"No you do not", replied Luna. Asher could see that Luna was combative and always had something to say. She was always ready to chalenge every order and opinion she heard and she did not seem to care about the repercussions of that either. "You are tired because you are weak and lazy!"
