After hanging up, Clara drove straight to Rocco's company.

Clara's knuckles were white on the steering wheel, her friend's choked-up voice echoing in her ears. She felt sick for Caterina.

Rocco, that bastard, didn't deserve her.

The elevator whisked her to the top floor. Clara marched directly to the CEO's office.

The secretary tried to stop her, but withered under Clara's intimidating Beta aura.

Clara pushed the door open without knocking. "Caterina sent me for the moonstone."

Rocco was behind his desk, reviewing documents. He looked up at her, a flicker of annoyance on his face.

"Clara." Rocco put down his pen, leaning back in his chair. "What game is Caterina playing now?"

His nonchalant attitude fueled Clara's anger.

"What game?" She strode into the office, shutting the door with a heavy thud. "She just wants back what belongs to her."

"The moonstone?" he sneered, crossing his legs. "That was a gift. She thinks she can just ask for it back?"
