It became easier to share tasks as more Blackthornes arrived at the Ashen lands. The problem was supervision. After the last war and Salcan’s use of lumina, our number of Betas had dropped. There were not enough of them to lead the Gammas. Most of them stayed focused on guarding the land we had been given.

That left the rest to me. It was not easy. My mind was not fully there. Even though I spent most of my time planning how we would return to our land, I kept getting distracted.
