Chapter 36

Hayley watches as Mafu aggressively plays in the court. He has been keeping a straight face since he returned from getting a drink. They couldn't figure out what's up and he won't even speak to them. It looks like some evil spirit had taken over him.

This resulted in him getting a couple of fouls and he was out of the game. Mafu just took his bag and walk out of the gym, not even looking back when his teammates and Jasper called him.

"I have to go talk to him," Hayley told Eleanor and she just stand up and followed Mafu outside the gym.

When Hayley sees him she marched towards him, grabbing his hand that forced him to face her. His brows were knitted together, eyes glistening with anger.

"What's up, Mafu? Are you upset with me?" 

"No," he answered, not even looking at her. "I'm mad at something else."

"Like what? We can talk it out to make you feel better!"
