Chapter 13: Visit

After dinner, Phyllis headed straight to their bedroom to prepare her clothes for tomorrow's family gathering.

She wanted to visit her grandma before going to the dinner that Rui arranged. She knows that her grandma can't attend the dinner so she will just take Zacharias to her.

Her motives were clear. She wanted to let her grandmother see that she was getting along with the man she chose for her. She is, after all, the reason why she married Zacharias.

Zacharias exited the bathroom while wearing comfortable blue sleepwear. He then went straight to the side table to fetch something.

Phyllis, who had just left their wardrobe, saw Zacharias reaching for the drawer containing the gifts they received. Her eyes widened as she rushed toward her husband to stop him.
