Chapter 52: Attention

“What is…” she mumbled as she scanned her surroundings.

She's realized that she is now inside a hospital ward, getting an infusion. She tried to get up from the bed but her body was so weak that she gave up.

Then, memories about what happened before she blacked out surfaced.

She remembered how Aster left her to talk to the boys who wanted to invite her out. And she also remembered how Aster's face was mostly covered in blood.

Just recalling Aster's condition earlier gave Phyllis a goosebump.
