"I promise you, Doctor Escobar. This is gonna be worth your time. It would be totally different from those times I usually stress the shit out of you.

After this session with you, I promise not gonna burden you anymore with my problem," Kelly assured as he attempted to calm the impatient doctor.

"And you expect me to believe that cheap excuse from you? What do you take me for? A kid?" Escobar raged as he doubted Kelly's promises. They sounded too good to be true. That was the same excuse Kelly usually had each time he needed doctor Escobar's assistance.

"Not this one.

You gotta believe me,"

Kelly pleaded for doctor Escobar attention.

"Believe you? Do you have an idea what that means? Why did I ever agree to pay attention to you? I should have just ignored you as though you never existed," Doctor Escobar sighed in frustration. He was starting to regret his decision for picking interest in Kelly's situation. To him, it was going to be an easy feat. Unfortunately, it turned out to be something he had always avoided.

"I can only accept to speak with you if you assure me that this is gonna be the last time you will bring such discussion to me. I am sick and tired of speaking about Dexter. The mention of his name sounds quite irritating to me. " Doctor Escobar stated his demand without blinking his eyes just to prove how serious he was.

Placing his hand onto his chest, Kelly Vowed. "I swear on my life, Doctor, that I am not gonna talk about this issue anymore. If I ever do that, feel free to have me arrested,"

"Like seriously? Doctor"

Doctor Escobar scoffed.

"Tell me this is a joke and I would totally understand. Do you expect me to consider that as a vow, or are you just kidding?" Escobar asked

"That was obviously a joke.

I just thought I should spice things up. But trust me, I won't bother you anymore about Dexter and that's a promise," Kelly explained. This time, he wasn't smiling just to let Doctor Escobar understand that he meant every damn word he said.

"I wanna be forced to believe that you are being serious this time. Although, your loyalty is yet to be confirmed. Let's see how far you can go to keep your promise," Doctor Escobar said and started approaching towards his office

Kelly didn't make a move to come with doctor Escobar. Rather, he stayed back to observe.

Looking back, doctor Escobar spotted Kelly looking so confused.

Out of frustration, he scolded. "Why the heck are you standing there? Is this how you chose to tackle your problem? I thought you were supposed to follow my lead? You do know how frustrating that was for me, right? It hurts that to a large extent, I wanna help you. Unfortunately, you are not making an effort to help yourself."

"Oh, you want me to join you in the office?" Kelly asked, pointing to himself. He didn't believe his eyes

"You were seriously waiting to grant your request? Do I need to spell everything out for you before you understand?" Doctor Escobar gave Kelly the cold response to get him more confused.

This time, Kelly wasted no time thinking as he followed doctor Escobar to the office with immediate effect. He knew another slip up might make the Doctor change his mind about paying attention to him.

"We are here now

Please be seated," Doctor Escobar urged Kelly as they arrived at the office.

"No doctor.

I rather remain seated and say it to you," Kelly opted. While Doctor Escobar was seated comfortably and waiting for Kelly to speak up, the latter's mind was restless as he struggled with his confidence.

Few minutes have passed and Kelly hasn't moved his lips yet. He suddenly became a stutter, something he hasn't done before.

To Kelly, It was a means to build his confidence. He had no idea that he was stepping on Doctor Escobar's toes with the reluctant speech.

"Are we gonna do this all day?

Does it occur to you that I'm a doctor?" Escobar roared like a wounded Lion.

Kelly couldn't get the picture of what Escobar was talking about. All he did was nod his head in the affirmative. That way, he might convince Doctor Escobar that he has a clue of where the conversation was heading to.

"That implies that I got other patients to tend to. Rather, I chose to spend my time with you. You've got no idea how lucky you are," Escobar added. He might be speaking in a calm tone but deep down, he was boiling. He was seriously fighting the urge to kick Kelly out of his office.

"Fine!

I will speak now,"

Kelly finally uttered. It took him a while to say that. Immediately he made the utterances, he started sweating profusely as though he had a gun pointed to his head, preventing him from speaking.

"Then make it faster.

I don't enjoy any of this," Doctor Escobar charged Kelly. The yelling was enough to restore Kelly's lost confidence.

"I feel guilty for reporting him to his father. Do you think I should have sealed my lips? My conscience is killing me now. I wish I could just go in there and tender my apology to Dexter," Kelly explained without a pause. He knew that his only opportunity to pour out his heart and he didn't hesitate to make the best of the opportunity.

"Are you done talking? Or you still have something else to say?" Doctor Escobar asked.

Kelly was stunned as his brows embraced each other. After his lengthy explanation, that wasn't the feedback Kelly expected from Doctor Escobar. He thought Doctor Escobar was gonna come up with the perfect solution to his problem.

"Yes, I'm done talking.

That's my only challenge right now.

What do you think I should do? I would be so glad if I can get the perfect solution to lift up the burden from my heart," Kelly lamented further.

"Am I interrupting anything interesting? This place looks quiet. Why do I have a feeling that you all suddenly stopped talking because I walked in? Are you all discussing me? I might just walk away if my presence is making you all uncomfortable." Kelly asked with seriousness. The sudden silence in the room worries him so much. He could have sworn that he heard some voices when he was still outside. "Kelly, please stop. Stop drawing unnecessary conclusions. It doesn't even make sense to me. This has nothing to do with you. Why do you think everything is always about you, huh? The least you could have done was to ask. This is not the way to go about this." George fumed at Kelly. Not even the news of Dexter's arrest made him react that way. He poured out his frustration at Kelly as he was the one who got Dexter arrested. "Okay. I guess it's not about me after all. At least, I know I am safe,' Kelly sighed.Another awkward glance from George fueled another suspicion."What? Stop starin

  • Married To My Enemy; Loved By His Brother   Reopening Closed Wound

Slowly, Ciara walked to the door and opened it. She stood at the door entrance to ensure that Walters didn't force himself inside the house. "You look stunning tonight. What the heck am I saying? You always look stunning. But tonight, it's different." They were the first words of Walters, immediately he saw Ciara. He couldn't get his eyes off her as though that were the first time meeting each other. The plan was to flatter Ciara and make her fall for Walters again. Sadly, it wasn't working. Ciara already knew what his intentions were. "What do you want?" She shunned his flattering words and went straight to the point. She can't deny the fact that Walters himself looks good. Due to what's at stake, she couldn't admit it. "I just want us to talk. Can I at least come inside let's have a decent conversation?" Walters begged. He sounded sorrowful like the biblical prodigal son who showed up to his father's house after wasting his inheritance. "You want us to talk?" She giggled and

Peeping through the tiny hole from inside, Ciara spotted a familiar face at her doorstep, holding a flower bouquet. He was dressed in a dark suit as though he were heading for a dinner date. It was a face that brought back old memories. He was the last person Ciara expected to see at that crucial time. This was the moment Ciara wished it was Derek. She felt that his presence was more significant than the person outside. "I can't believe it's Walters that's standing outside my doorstep. He is even dressed in a suit. What exactly does he want from me? I thought I would never set my eyes on him ever again. Why didn't he reach out to me personally? For crying out loud, it's 8:20 PM. Is he that jobless?Doesn't he have important places to be at this time? Why come to my house? What if my Father was around?" Ciara lamented in a low tone. Too many mysteries surrounding the presence of Walters, her ex-boyfriend. They haven't spoken to each other since Walters called off their relationshi

"I said nasty things about you in your absence that shouldn't have been said. I allowed my emotions and anger to control me. Now I am regretting every one of my actions," Tony confessed, yet failed to hit the nail on the head. He got Lucas and everyone confused."I don't understand what you are talking about. You still haven't told me what I need to hear. Can you please go straight to the point? You are not even making sense right now," Lucas fumed. He pretends not to know what Tony says about him. Not just pulling out, I also tried forcing everyone to make the same decision," Tony finally took the courage to speak up. It was the most difficult task of his life. He would have sworn that he was never going to say that. To everyone's surprise, Lucas didn't react to Tony's confession, nor did he confront Tony. Instead, Lucas laughed and shook his head in pity. "But why didn't she tell me before? What game is she trying to play with me? Why does it have to be now? No, I disagree. I need to unravel the real truth in this." Officer Lucas asked himself rhetorically as his voice echoed back to him. Plenty of unanswered questions roam inside his head with no one around to provide the answers. "Now I see what Nurse Elizabeth is trying to achieve with this. She wants to manipulate me with some fake pregnancy, isn't it? There's no way I am letting her get away with it. "Exactly what you heard, Romeo. This is crazy. It's against my belief. I can't imagine myself being a partaker of something that's against my faith," Tony confirmed his decision to back out. His lips weren't shaking either, and his legs were struggling to stand firm on the ground. He didn't stutter or mince words. It was as though he'd been waiting for this moment all his life to express his dissatisfaction. "Your beliefs?" Romeo giggled. He paced around the office and returned a few seconds later. "Please tell me this is a joke. It's too early to joke with a situation like this," Romeo doubted Tony. Despite the seriousness on Tony's face, Romeo still didn't think he meant every damn word he said. "I wouldn't utter a word to you anymore. I rather wait for the officer to show up. Perhaps, you are going to believe me when I say it to his face," Tony stated and stepped backwards. Those were the only words he uttered. "he's serious about it," Romeo muttered in disbelief.
