Aria’s POV

Three Days Earlier

The last time I stepped foot inside the Severo Estate, I was twelve years old.

Only twelve.

A little girl clutching my grandmother’s hand while trying not to cry.

Back then, the estate had been filled with black clothes, flowers, and grieving faces.

The late Donna Severo had just died, I still remembered the procession.

The endless stream of expensive cars, and the men in dark suits.

The women whispering prayers. The atmosphere had been heavy, almost suffocating.

  • Daddy’s Little Obsession (The Don Who Owns Me)   I have my own life

FinaThe morning had started perfectly, for the first time in days, I woke up feeling light, and happy.Maybe it was because Dario had held me all through the night.Maybe it was because, for once, he hadn’t rushed out of bed the moment the sun rose.Or maybe I was simply getting used to this strange life of mine.Either way, I had woken up smiling.Even if my husband had grumbled when he found me helping Rita prepare breakfast.“You’re not supposed to be in the kitchen.”That had been the first thing he’d said. I had rolled my eyes, and he had frowned. As usual. Then he had left with Marco and some of the men for business he refused to tell me about.Business that apparently did not concern me, at least according to him.So I didn’t ask, there was no point.Whenever I asked about mafia matters, Dario either changed the subject or looked at me as if I had asked him for state secrets.By noon, they finally returned. I was already waiting when I saw him enter the mansion. His expression

  • Daddy’s Little Obsession (The Don Who Owns Me)   You look like you need some release

Laro’s POVThe morning I was supposed to pick Rita’s granddaughter up from the airport, I made a mistake.I looked her up.Rita had given me her social media handles the night before, claiming it would make it easier for me to recognize her when I got there. It did the exact opposite.I was sitting on the edge of my bed, phone in hand, staring at picture after picture.Long dark hair, brown eyes, and a smile that looked genuine.Paint-stained fingers in half her photos. Most of her page was filled with sketches, paintings, unfinished canvases, and random moments from her life.An artsy girl. That was the first thing I noticed. The second thing I noticed was that she was beautiful.Extremely beautiful. The exact type of woman I usually stayed away from.“Fuck.”I tossed the phone onto the mattress. This wasn’t good.I already knew enough about her story from Rita. A mother who had left.Years of struggling, and working hard enough to earn her place in college. And now she was moving in

  • Daddy’s Little Obsession (The Don Who Owns Me)   And you’re a pain in my damn ass

Aria’s POVThe next morning, I was woken up before sunrise, not by an alarm.By my grandmother.“Aria!”I groaned and buried my face deeper into the pillow.“Five more minutes.”“No.”I cracked one eye open. Rita stood over me with both hands on her hips.I immediately sat up. “Okay. You’re terrifying before breakfast.”She laughed. “Get dressed.”I wasn’t starting school until the following week, which meant I still had a few days to settle into the estate and get familiar with everything around me.And honestly? I didn’t mind.I liked being around my grandmother, I liked helping. The entire morning was spent in the kitchen. We prepared breakfast together while she barked orders at everyone like a tiny Italian general.I was fascinated by watching her work. Everyone listened to her, and respected her.By the time breakfast was done, I was covered in flour and laughing.“Go get another bag from storage,” Rita told one of the servants.“I’ll get it.” I told her.“Are you sure?”I rolled

The atmosphere had been heavy, almost suffocating.Even as a child, I had understood that something important had happened. That was my last visit. And now, eight years later, I was returning. Not as a guest, but as a resident.I sat in the airport lounge with my earphones plugged in, my suitcase beside me and my phone in hand.A smile tugged at my lips, I still couldn’t believe it.The Don himself had agreed to let me stay at the estate while I attended university. The money I had saved for accommodation could now go toward my studies instead.I

  • Daddy’s Little Obsession (The Don Who Owns Me)   I’ll kill every one of you

DarioThe church bells kept ringing, loud but steady.A haunting sound that echoed across the old stone walls and drifted through the cold evening air.To outsiders, it was nothing more than an abandoned church perched on the outskirts of the city.A forgotten place, a holy place, and a place where sinners came to beg for forgiveness. The irony of that thought almost made me laugh.Because behind the church sat one of the biggest distribution points owned by the Severo family.Where drugs, weapons, and money passed through. The shipments arrived through hidden routes, were repackaged inside underground storage facilities, and redistributed across multiple territories. The church stood in front, but Hell operated behind it.And I owned both.I sat comfortably on a wooden chair outside one of the warehouses, a thick cigar resting between my fingers.Smoke curled around me. Blood stained the concrete floor several feet away.Marco drove another punch into the man’s face, and the crack ec

  • Daddy’s Little Obsession (The Don Who Owns Me)   The Don and Donna are back

Fina’s POVWhen I woke up, the yacht was no longer swaying as heavily as it had through the night. For a few seconds, I simply stared at the ceiling, trying to gather my thoughts. Then I heard movement.I turned my head and found Dario standing in front of the mirror, adjusting a black tie around his neck.Already dressed, and in work mode. It was too early to look this annoyingly handsome.I yawned and stretched beneath the sheets. His eyes met mine in the mirror.“Twenty minutes.”I frowned. “What?”“That’s how long we have before we leave.” He tightened his tie.“I already picked out your clothes.”Before I could complain, he turned and walked out of the room.I stared after him. “Good morning to you too.”The door closed, and I dropped back onto the bed with a groan. Why was he grumpy all of a sudden?Every muscle in my body ached. The memories from last night returned one after another, and I buried my face in a pillow.God.I didn’t even know how to process half of what had happ
