Kira POV
I had just closed at the restaurant 'Balma's Kitchen,' where I work as a waitress, feeling so tired and exhausted. Geez, working as a waitress here wasn't easy, but hell, this was the only way I could survive lest I starve to death. I walked to the sidewalk, yawning tiredly as I flagged down a taxi. "Boris Mall, please," I said to the taxi man, and he nodded immediately. I opened the back door and immediately slipped inside, resting lazily on the seat. So Mina's wedding would be happening in a few days time, and for that I've decided to gift, even though I didn't have much on me. I still wanted to surprise her, and that's why I was currently headed to Borris Mall, a popular jewelry shop, to see if I could get her something, even if it's just a small box of jewelry. Although tonight was supposed to be the night I and Jamison should be going out for our first date, but then I had to cancel it for this. Jamison could wait. My sister's what more important here. We arrived at the mall in no time, and just as the driver rolled the car to a halt In front of it, I pulled out some wads of dollar notes from my purse, which I handed out to him. Afterwards, I climbed down from the cab and then proceeded into the mall. It was filled to the brim when I got inside, and I headed straight for the jewelry section and checked out the different designs, some of which were quite expensive. I paused. In front of the one with the lower price tag, almost immediately a silver necklace caught my attention. I turned to take a proper look at it. I fell in love with the design immediately, liking the way it stood out from the rest of the other ones with a cheap price tag. I took it out from the show glass and began admiring it, wondering if it would fit in with Mina's wedding dress. Dylan POV The plane that brought me back to America had just landed some few minutes ago, and I couldn't help but grin brightly as I stepped down and took in the fresh air of America. "Wow, it feels so good to be home," I muttered to myself, looking around. The place hadn't changed one bit and still looked as beautiful and sophisticated as when I last saw it. Just then I spotted a black SUV parked on the other side. A man dressed like a chauffeur was standing beside it. Immediately our eyes met, the man signaled at me. Without being told, I knew it was the ride Mom had prepared for me so I crossed over to the other side of the road and joined him. "Welcome back home, young master," the man greeted. With a respectful bow as he opened the door for me. I nodded in response and got inside; immediately he took his space at the driver's side, and in no time the ride home began. We were already halfway through with it when my phone began ringing. I brought it out, not so surprised to see it was Mom calling. "Hello, Mom," I answered grumpily. "Hi, son, So how's it going? Did you arrive safely?" she asked "Yes mom," I replied curtly. "Good. I hope you've seen the car I sent to pick you up, right?" She asked again. "Yeah, and I'm currently on my way coming." I grouched, and there was silence for a brief moment before she started speaking. "Great. Now this is what I want you to do for me. Remember that necklace I've been telling you about, right?" she asked, and I groaned inwardly. Why do I suddenly have a sudden feeling about where this was heading? "Yeah, so what about it?" I asked in a raspy tone, feeling somewhat frustrated. "Well, could you please stop by the mall and pick it up for . You know it's your wedding in a few days time and—" "Seriously, Mom, do you realize I just got back into town?" I scoffed, unable to contain my frustration anymore. I just got back into town, and look at what she's making me do. "So what? It's your marriage in a few days time, and I've been the one shouldering the responsibility for it. Honestly, I'd love to go get that necklace myself, but your marriage preparation had me choked up—" "Fine! Fine! Whatever, I'll get it for you." I cut her off sharply, not wanting to hear anything about the marriage stuff. To be honest, I'm still not pleased with it. But yeah, I have to do it. "Alright then," she said and hung up. I sighed deeply and rubbed my temples, then I faced the driver, who was still driving. "Change of location, Borris Mall," I said to him, and he nodded before taking a bend to the other side of the road. We got to the mall after a very long time, and immediately I climbed down from the car. I didn't even wait for the driver to park properly before I did. Hell, I just wanted to get done and over with this as soon as possible. I still couldn't believe Mom was making me do this when I should be home right now. I got inside the mall and headed straight for the jewelry section. Well, I've been here a couple of times in the past, so I literally knew my way around. As I walked, I could feel almost everyone's gaze on me, but I couldn't care less. Well, being such a hottie who draws attention everywhere he goes, this was not something new. I stopped at the jewelry section and headed straight to the customized spots where I knew the necklace Mom was looking for would be. However, as I was about to take the usual turn... Something more like someone caught my attention from the side, and I turned to take a proper look.... And, God, I almost regretted it. Just what the hell! I groaned inwardly as I could feel myself getting arose as I stared at the hot, s*xy Vixen who had her back turned on me—and that exactly was the main deal. Her ass! Actually, that was what caught my attention, and, man! Merely taking a look at those huge round goodies, I could feel my erection building up as the usual lust kicked in. It usually comes up whenever I see huge b**bs and @$$, and even Shawna herself couldn't satisfy that lust in me. Despite how big and endowed she was, I still cheated on her. Yeah, that's just me. No matter how much I like a girl, I just can't stick to her pussy! And right now, would it sound so crazy of me to say I wouldn't be at peace if I don't get to f**k that girl? Just then an idea suddenly struck me, and I decided to go talk to her. I smirked and began approaching her from behind with the aim of stylishly grabbing one of her goodies. But then, as if she felt me approaching, she suddenly turned around. Our eyes met, and immediately she glared at me, her brows arching up questionably yet beautifully as she did. Man, she was so damn cute. "Excuse me, mister, how may I..." "Pretty, please just name the price, okay? I promise to pay any amount," I blurted out stupidly before I could stop myself. "Excuse me?" She squinted at me in surprised utter shock and confusion clearly written on her face. "Do I know you, Mr.? And what do you mean by that?" she asked, her eyes narrowing. I scoff inwardly. Seriously, is she trying to play dumb or what? What girl doesn't know the popular slang name your price? "Trying to play dumb, huh?" I started with a playful smirk, watching out for her reaction. "What?" Her lashes batted together in a blink, one act I found very cute. "Yeah, unless you're deliberately trying to act daft. There's no way a grown lady like you would tell me you don't know the popular slang 'name your price. Everyone knows it." I smirked mischievously. "Well, I don't," she deadpanned, firmly sounding so serious. Oh God! I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "Fine, since you're going to be acting dumb about it, I guess I'll just have to say it bluntly then: I mean, how much do I have to pay to f**k that cute little pu$$y of yours?" I say rawly because it seems that was the only way she would understand me. Immediately I said that I noticed her countenance changed a bit and the bright look on her face turned dark. "What did you just say?" She asked, her tone cold and sharp. Wait, don't tell me she's angry. "I said repeat what you just said," she snapped, taking a step closer to me. I blinked in confusion; perhaps she didn't get me well the first time. "Well, I was just saying...." Prraaah! Her palms moved so fast, and the next thing I felt was a sting in my cheek. Wait, what? My eyes dimmed at once, the aftermath of the hit still ringing in my ear. Did...did she just slap me?!Mina POV "Mina!" The familiar voice rang out behind me again, louder this time, but I didn't even glance back. My feet moved faster on their own, weaving through the busy market street like I was being chased. God, no. I couldn't let him see me. Not like this. I felt my stomach twist as I pictured my reflection-the swollen cheek, the split lip. My fingers trembled as I clutched the hem of my shirt tighter. I can't. I can't let Nathan see me like this. But then, in the middle of my frantic steps, a sudden grip closed around my wrist. My breath hitched, and I flinched violently, spinning around, my heart hammering in panic- "Mina, why have you been ignor-Bloody hell!" Nathan's voice cracked. The second his eyes landed on me, he froze. I watched his face drain pale, his expression twisting into pure shock. He jerked his hand back like my skin burned him. Oh no. No, no, no. "Who the hell did this to you?" His voice came out sharp and furious, louder than I'd ever heard it. His wa
Jamison POV "Hey Jamie!" Shawna suddenly walked in that morning dressed in only her bra and panties, and I looked away immediately, not wanting to fall for her charms again. Darn it! I still couldn't believe I had s£x with her last night. What a b**ch! She obviously drugged and seduced me because all I remembered was accepting a drink from her last night, only to wake up to find her in my arms this morning. So infuriating! I ran a hand through my hair in frustration. My head was still pounding lightly, and every time I thought about it, it made my stomach churn. I wasn't like this. This wasn't me. Now I'm beginning to reconsider the idea of letting her stay in my place. Gosh, she's really something. But then again, I needed her to get Kira back. She seemed to have a lot of connections or something, and by the look of things, if I worked with her, there's a real chance I could get Kira back. I clenched my jaw. Kira. Just thinking of her name was enough to twist something in m
Britney POVI looked around the quiet, deserted area, confused about why Dylan wanted us to meet here. I was still wondering when a strong hand suddenly yanked me from behind. I gasped and turned quickly, only to see it was Dylan.I relaxed a little, but not for long. My fear grew as he dragged me roughly down a narrow bush path without saying a word. My heart pounded harder with every step until we reached a large clearing with a newly dug pit in the middle. He stopped abruptly, and before I could react, he shoved me toward the edge.I screamed, clinging desperately to his arms, my nails digging into his skin. Tears filled my eyes."Dylan… please… please don’t do this to me," I begged, my voice shaking uncontrollably. "Please don’t kill me. I’m begging you."He stared at me coldly, his expression completely blank.God, why was he doing this? How could he even think of killing me?I glanced down into the pit. It was deep. If he let me go, I would not survive the fall. The sight alone
Next MorningKira POVThe door opened behind me and I turned to see Dylan walk in. I scoffed and immediately looked away, focusing on the mirror where I stood checking myself out. I was already running late for work."Hey," he said softly as he came closer, his hands reaching for me from behind.I ignored him completely and continued fixing my hair.Only God knows how angry I was at him right now. It was taking everything in me to keep it bottled up.I didn’t want to start a fight this early in the morning, but if he kept pushing me…"So you're just going to keep ignoring me?" his voice came from behind, filled with frustration and something I couldn’t place.I pretended not to hear him and concentrated on getting ready. I was done dressing and bent to pick up my bag from the table when suddenly, I felt his arms grab me from behind. I flinched and my eyes widened."Dylan!""Kira... please," he said, his voice breaking slightly. "I just want my wife back. The one who nags me. The one w
Wendy's POV On a normal day, his sweaty bare back covered in tattoos should’ve been enough to drive me insane. But with the amount of anger boiling in me right now, I couldn’t care less. How dare he treat me like I’m nothing? If not for this insane crush I’ve had on him for so long, would I even be here, humiliating myself like this? Throwing myself at him? So who the fuck does he think he is? “For the last time, bitch, leave this room while I’m still in a good mood,” he barked, picking up a bottle of champagne and taking a huge gulp. Like he wasn’t just humiliating me; now he was ignoring me too. I stayed on the floor, glaring at him. Then, his eyes caught mine. The deadly look in them sent a shiver down my spine. “I’m not joking with you,” he warned. And that was it. I snapped. I jumped to my feet. “What the hell is wrong with you?!” I yelled, trembling with rage. He frowned and turned slowly to face me. “Are you talking to me?” “Yes, I’m fucking talking to you! What do
Dylan POV I slowly opened my eyes and was met with a familiar face hovering above mine. My brows creased into a frown. Even with my blurred vision, I could still recognize Freddie’s distinct features. “Get off me, man,” I groaned, pushing him off as I sat up. A sharp pain shot through my head. “The fuck…” I hissed, holding my head. It was pounding like crazy. “You okay, man?” Freddie asked. I pulled my hand away from my face and looked at him. “What the hell happened? Where the fuck are we?” I asked, scanning the room we were in. It didn’t look familiar at all. He raised a brow at me. “You seriously don’t remember anything?” “Remember what?” I scoffed. “How did you almost get us killed?” he replied, and I squinted at him, confused. “What? What the hell are you talking about?” Before he could reply, another wave of pain hit me hard. I shut my eyes and grabbed my head. But this time… memories began to come back in flashes. The road. The truck. The lights. The screeching
