Kira Pov

It was the introduction ceremony today, and the groom's family had already arrived.

I looked around at the faces of all the men present, wondering which of them could be the groom.

Obviously he wasn't here yet, cause don't tell me it's one of this middle aged men right?

I thought as I readjusted myself in the safe corner where I hid watching everything going on in the living room.

Since I wasn't the one getting married I wasn't allowed to show my face just yet.

Mina together with Dad and Aunt Fina, were already seated at the dining table entertaining the visitors.

They were just four in number, three men and one woman. Without being told, I could tell that the woman who was anxiously tapping on her phone, was the groom's mother.

I observed her wondering what was wrong with her, and why she looked so worried.

"He's still not picking right?" one of the men with her asked. He was an elderly with gray hair.

"Of course not! Darius, that boy had better not try playing games with me or else—" she was still speaking when the front door opened and a figure walked through.

I turned immediately, checking to see who it was. However, the moment I did, my jaw dropped to the floor as I came face to face with the last person I never expected to see.

What the hell!

This guy? The guy from the mall? How could this be?

I was so lost staring at him that I forgot to hide the moment I saw him coming.

He stepped closer, eyes gazing over at the new surroundings. But when those eyes suddenly landed on me, he halted. Eyes widening as recognition hit him.

"Y-You?" he muttered staring at me

I kept gaping at him still unable to believe it.

This guy! Of all the people my sister could end up with? Him?! This Shameless flirt?!

Oh Jesus!

I continued glaring at him, hating the fact that it had to be him. This was the reason why I hated all this arranged marriage stuff. You never get the chance to know who your partner really is until you get married to them. And by the time you've figured out their flaws, it's already too late.

So what if I decided to tell my sister that this guy she was about to marry was the same guy who flirted shamelessly with me three days back?

Do you think she would believe me?

"Hey Dylan, over here," one of the middle aged men suddenly called out to him from the dining, making him finally turn his gaze away from me.

He turned to leave, but not without sparing me one last glance, his eyes raking over my body in such a way that unnerved me.

He smirked before finally walking off.

I stared at his retreating back, my brow knitting as I thought about what he just did

What was that? why was he staring at me like that?

Mina Pov

I gaped in awe at the handsome demigod who just stepped into the dinning room. My breath got stuck in my throat and I was left completely mesmerizied by his otherworldly look

Hold on a minute. This guy.. Is he the groom?

Like, the guy I am supposed to marry?

I couldn't believe my eyes. I could feel the butterflies going wild in my stomach and I tried taking a deep breath to steady my racing nerves, but it was pointless. My heart was still beating fast.

Geez! Only one glance at him and I'm already feeling like this.

"What took you so long son?" The woman suddenly asked, with clear anger and annoyance written all over her face.

The guy didn't reply but instead went ahead to take a seat beside one of the elderly men present in the room with us.

"I'm talking to you son—"

"Mom, can we please just get this done and over with it already?!" he suddenly cut her off with his snap. His tone cold and livid.

Everyone gasped at his sudden outburst.

I looked up to him with widened eyes. For some reason he seemed mad about something.

But why? Was he not happy to be here?

I couldn't help but wonder as I watched him at where he sat with a broody look on his face.

Now that I thought about it, he hadn't even looked in my direction, just once. Instead, he kept his gaze fixed on the table before him.

"Fine let's get on with what brought us here" one of the elderly men said in a bid to calm the already tensed atmosphere.

I looked at the guy but he was now just scrolling through his phone, acting as if whatever was happening here was none of his business.

The introduction began just like that, with the guest introducing themselves and telling us their reason for coming. Which of course was to marry me for their son.

After sometime, I and the guy who I now knew his name as Dylan, were asked to introduce ourselves to each other. And only then, I repeat only then did he look at me. And it didn't even last up to a second before he returned his gaze back to his phone

I felt a sudden ache in my heart as I wondered what could have gone wrong. What was it? Was it that he didn't find me beautiful enough to be his bride? Was that why he wouldn't even spare me a second glance?

"Alright Mina, it's time to serve the in-laws," Aunt Finna's voice suddenly broke into my thoughts as I blinked back to reality, realizing I had been spacing out the entire time when I should have been listening.

I didn't even know it had gotten to the stage where we should be entertaining the guest

"O... okay" I mouthed as l stood awkwardly from my seat.

I glanced one more time at Dylan but as usual he had his eyes still glued to his phone

I sighed despondently and went to join my Aunt in the kitchen. She had already decanted the wine into several cups by the time I got in. so all she did was hand the tray over to me.

"You remember all I told you to do when serving your husband, right? Make sure you go on your knees before him and don't forget to lock eyes with him when bringing the drink to his lips okay?" she said and I nodded, as I took the tray from her and held it tight.

"Alright you can go now," she said and I walked out of the room with the tray in my hands.

I got back inside the dinning hall and almost immediately began placing it in front of everyone as instructed by Aunt.

I continued on with the serving until I finally got to Dylan and that was where the problem began, because it was at that moment he finally decided to look up and gawd the look he gave me wasn't one bit encouraging.

What was wrong? I couldn't remember doing anything that could have offended him, so why was he suddenly glaring at me?

There was this sudden chillness which took over the room as he stared-more like glared-coldly at me, and at that moment, I didn't feel sure about any of this anymore, I felt uncomfortable.

I could feel my hands shaking, the one holding the glass cup to be precise. And no matter how much I tried not to act nervous, I just couldn't.

God! Why was he staring at me like that? Does he know the negative effect that stare was having on me?

Or like I presumed earlier, could it be that he doesn't find me worthy of being his bride?

And that's why he's angry? Regardless, I don't think I can back down now. l mean have come too far for it.

Soo, blistering up,I built up courage and decided to approach him.

I managed to lock gaze with him, and at the same time tried going on my knees before him.

But then the deadly look he suddenly gave me made me weak in the knee and before I knew it, I missed my step and the next thing I knew I was falling.

Jamison POV "Hey Jamie!" Shawna suddenly walked in that morning dressed in only her bra and panties, and I looked away immediately, not wanting to fall for her charms again. Darn it! I still couldn't believe I had s£x with her last night. What a b**ch! She obviously drugged and seduced me because all I remembered was accepting a drink from her last night, only to wake up to find her in my arms this morning. So infuriating! Britney POVI looked around the quiet, deserted area, confused about why Dylan wanted us to meet here. I was still wondering when a strong hand suddenly yanked me from behind. I gasped and turned quickly, only to see it was Dylan.I relaxed a little, but not for long. My fear grew as he dragged me roughly down a narrow bush path without saying a word. My heart pounded harder with every step until we reached a large clearing with a newly dug pit in the middle. He stopped abruptly, and before I could react, he shoved me toward the edge.I screamed, clinging desperately to his arms, my nails digging into his skin. Wendy's POV On a normal day, his sweaty bare back covered in tattoos should’ve been enough to drive me insane. But with the amount of anger boiling in me right now, I couldn’t care less. How dare he treat me like I’m nothing? If not for this insane crush I’ve had on him for so long, would I even be here, humiliating myself like this? Throwing myself at him? So who the fuck does he think he is? “For the last time, bitch, leave this room while I’m still in a good mood,” he barked, picking up a bottle of champagne and taking a huge gulp. Like he wasn’t just humiliating me; now he was ignoring me too. I stayed on the floor, glaring at him. Then, his eyes caught mine. The deadly look in them sent a shiver down my spine. “I’m not joking with you,” he warned. And that was it. I snapped. I jumped to my feet. “What the hell is wrong with you?!” I yelled, trembling with rage. He frowned and turned slowly to face me. “Are you talking to me?” “Yes, I’m fucking talking to you! What do

Dylan POV I slowly opened my eyes and was met with a familiar face hovering above mine. My brows creased into a frown. Even with my blurred vision, I could still recognize Freddie’s distinct features. “Get off me, man,” I groaned, pushing him off as I sat up. A sharp pain shot through my head. “The fuck…” I hissed, holding my head. It was pounding like crazy. “You okay, man?” Freddie asked. I pulled my hand away from my face and looked at him. “What the hell happened? Where the fuck are we?” I asked, scanning the room we were in. It didn’t look familiar at all. He raised a brow at me. “You seriously don’t remember anything?” “Remember what?” I scoffed. “How did you almost get us killed?” he replied, and I squinted at him, confused. “What? What the hell are you talking about?” Before he could reply, another wave of pain hit me hard. I shut my eyes and grabbed my head. But this time… memories began to come back in flashes. The road. The truck. The lights. The screeching
