Chapter 58(Reunion)

Aurora POV

Our car was parked in front of the enormous mansion, and some guards rushed to us. They opened the door, helping me out, and I looked around the big parking space, and I breathed out. The place was quiet with the breeze blowing softly. Trees surrounded the house, making it look beautiful. Dexter came to me and wrapped his arm around me softly; he could tell I was nervous.

“You’re welcome, Mr and Mrs. King. My name is Rory, and I am the butler,” a man said, walking to us. I smiled at him while Dexter stretched his hand forward. Rory is a man who seems to be in his mid-sixties. His head and beard are full of white hair, there was wrinkles and smile lines on his face. He is wearing a black suit with a blue bow. He is not that tall, and he looks very fit. He looked kind.

“Nice to meet you,” he said, and Rory smiled. He looked over at me, and I could see the relief on his face. And I wondered why.
