11. Lip lock

"Why have you come here anyways Sophia?" Adrian asked after a while.

I had completely forgotten why I came to look for him in the first place the moment he began to look down on me and accuse me.

I wiped the tears in my eyes with my fingers and sniffled a little.

Adrian folded his arms across his chest, scrutinizing me.

"I want to ask for your permission to visit my parents," I tell him.

Adrian's brows rose as if he did not hear me and he wanted me to repeat myself. I fidgeted with my finger, not attempting to say any more words until he said something.

"You want to go see your parents? Why?" His brows rose again but now in a questioning manner.

"So that you and them can plan your next move? So that you and can tell then you are unable to woo me and they can tell you other means to get me?" He clicked his tongue while he shook his head.

"That's not true," I said to him but he chuckled in return.

"Of course, it is not true. It can't be true. Isn't it you? All you know
