MasukStark's P.O.V.If Amelia is indeed a Lycan, then she is much more than she believes herself to be, and as soon as I get her back, I will need to inform her of everything essential about her identity. I'd pushed her away, and more importantly, I hadn't claimed her yet. I no longer care about waiting; the distance between us and my uncertainty about whether she is alive is driving me insane. She was everything to me; she was more than I ever imagined. So she deserves the best and every happiness she desires.Thankfully, Madonna had been able to detect my mate's scent in the area, and as soon as she finished her tasks on the land, I headed inside and called for a quick meeting with the others. We couldn't move again because there was a change of plan. We had spent the whole day strategizing and making a new plan on how and where we would be going. We came down with a plan, and it was to travel to where Madonna would lead us, where the rogues resided. She said it was somewhere in the moun
Amelia's P.O.V.As I sat alone in the empty room, my mind kept on reflecting on the dream I had last night. It was so familiar yet strange that it's almost as if I had truly experienced them but didn't know when or where it had happened. Like a forgotten memory. It would also make sense as to why I had been having these dreams consistently. Was I really the girl in the dream? Or was I having flashbacks from my previous life? I wasn't sure. But what currently surprises me is how similar my wolf is to the one I saw in the dream. Ravishing silver-whitish furs, if that made sense, with silver eyes just like mine, and since I discovered this supernatural existence, I don't think I have ever seen a wolf similar to mine. All I've seen so far were black, brown, and grey furs, not silver. Never silver or white, but then, in the dream, the mother of the girl had turned into a silver wolf to protect the child, and that wolf just happened to be similar to my wolf. A very similar trait that I have
Stark's P.O.V.Taking a sip from my coffee mug, I leaned back into my chair, facing Madonna, who was sitting next to Tyler.“Help me find her.“ I said this while clasping my hands together, my face showing a serious expression. “Whatever magic you did back then, please do it again and take us there.“She nodded slowly before looking down to search for something in the small duffle bag on her lap. “Yes, Alpha. I will do that, but I need you to tell me the place she was last seen before they took her. That way I'll be able to connect with her through the little energy still left there.““There are two places we are sure of. Where she was attacked and where she was taken. We know where the rogues passed because they recently detected her scent in the northwest. It's been days now; her scent wouldn't still be there.“ I explained feeling every muscle in my body tighten. I should have called for Madonna as soon as Amelia went missing, but now I fear it may be too late. By now, Amelia's scen
Stark's P.O.V.It's been three days. It's been three agonizing days since I heard from Amelia or laid eyes on her. It's almost 7 a.m., and I didn't get to sleep all night. Hell, I haven't been able to sleep for three days now. What kind of werewolf would go to bed peacefully with the fact that his other half is somewhere unsafe with dangerous people? I just could not fall asleep with that fact. I don't deserve any peace until I bring back my innocent mate safely. When she was with me, I messed up by distancing myself from her. It felt like a stab to my chest anytime I saw Amelia and would not touch or claim her. However, I had kept a close watch on her, instructing my gamma to monitor her activities and report back to me. I should have just stayed and cherished her like every sane werewolf would do to his mate. I didn't, and I admit I was actually foolish. I didn't want her to get close because of these fucking same situations. I thought I was protecting her by staying away. If no one
Amelia's P.O.V.As I kept my eyes on over twenty-something rogues snarling their teeth angrily and closing in on me, I could feel my heart beating so hard against my chest. It would be a terrible idea if we tried to attack them because we are already outnumbered. So as I carefully stepped away from the dead rogue beneath me, I swept my eyes over to the trees across. If I could just make a run for it— I jumped back in surprise when a rogue suddenly appeared in front of me, blocking my view of the trees and gnashing his teeth angrily at me, probably guessing what was on my mind.'Would it be a good idea to overstep them and take a run? I don't want to die, Rex.' My stomach was churning at the thought of what could happen if they came at us. It would be a miracle if we made it out of here unharmed or even alive.'We won't die, Amelia. For now, let's wait and see what happens next.' She responded, trying to reassure me. 'Moreover, I have a feeling they won't try to harm you now.'True to
Amelia's P.O.V.I could feel the heat rush through my blood, a wave of anger slowly overtaking the fear as the rogue continues to drag me along with him in the rain. I grunted at the position, trying to break my hands free from his grip behind my back, but it had little impact, as the strength he was using was strong, and since I was trapped, all I could do was wriggle my body against his hold.“Stop struggling.“ He growled behind me as he roughly dragged me forward, my legs losing their footing several times. “It's no use.“My breathings were ragged against my chest, and I raised my head in the rain to see he was dragging me towards a different building. My eyes widened, knowing anything could happen in there. I began to panic, my heart pounding rapidly.'It's now or never, Rex. Please help me.''I've been trying to, but you are somehow holding me back. You have to let me take control.''How? Please tell me how.I swung my legs forward in an attempt to set myself free, and luckily fo
