Rosalie’s POV

Without hesitating, Brad nodded and we stepped out to speak.

I was a bit hesitant but this was the only way I could think of.

“Brad,” I began, my voice catching before I could fully form the words.

He lifted a brow, not saying a word, his aquamarine eyes tender, patiently waiting for me to be able to speak.

“I—there’s something I need to tell you. Something that’s been gnawing at me.” My throat felt tight, the words sticking, but I pushed forward, needing to say them. “And I believe I can trust you to keep it a secret.”

Brad’s expression shifted, but he was good at masking his emotions, leaving me guessing what was going through his mind.

“You have nothing to worry about, Rosalie. You can trust me,” he assured. I had no doubts about that.

Aside from Nathan, he was the only other person who had my back, I couldn't even pinpoint what I was worried about.

    Chapter 10Rosalie's POV“Help!” I screamed, my voice cracking as I pounded my fists against the iron bars. My throat burned from the force of it, but I didn’t care. “Somebody! Please!
